As far as i know they doesn't offer eagle in the first place what they offer is falcon and hornet / growler that s way MOD hire a consultan to loby cmiiw

Then why the air force said that we will get F15EX starting from this year? Rafale is also included.

This is where we got confuse sometimes. The first so called "green light" was published in the local media when Plt.Min of Def Christopper Miller was in talk with our Def Mins on Dec 2020. And the news was being quoted from inside Kemenhan, not from Mr.Miller him self (afaik).

Keep in mind that this guy was in Thrumph administration, off course the new ellected US Govt will reevaluate the decission again. The news headline sometimes can be misleading. Now we (08) confidence that we are going to get F15EX, he and his team are the one who know for sure how the deal progress, the statement from KASAU refered to it. The talk is still in progress include the lobbyist hired by min def, I assume thats why no DSCA announcement yet. So formally there is no "green light" statement has come from Biden administration afaik.

There are alot of things need to be shorten out, the talk isnt just about the platform. For example: F15EX being an air supperiority & "bomb truck" need bomb/munitions in order to do her job, this is one area that need alot of assurance from both side. Are we allowed to get the advance munitions? If not, do we have the permission to integrate Europe base advanced munitions? etc. I am pretty sure our AU want the Eagle munitions type we allowed to have to be no less then what we have now with the Sukhoi fleet.

Lets keep the hope high but be prepare for the impact of bantingan 😁 😁

Edit: Wording/Spell

Bo
Boeing themselves said this.

A Boeing spokeswoman could not confirm the planned purchase, but said “we remain confident in the F-15EX’s suitability for Indonesia, given its unmatched range, payload, and performance.”

Unless the US rejected us to get F-15EX and we're lobbying them to give us F-15QA (Qatar version) instead.
Boeing is but biden administrition ..??

Obviously Boeing as for profit and pro free market enterprise will be happy to whatever the paying customer is choosing, however it will not sound right if with they give priority of foreign customer while USAAF themselves has only received a handful

Whenever there's argument between members about which fighter that we should purchase there's literally nobody mention Eurofighters.
Maybe you haven't noticed that I've mentioned the Typhoon quite often

Local media❓You might as well believe that the Kardashian boobs are real natural boobs.
Some local media even took cue from our discussion in this forum

What advance ordnance you're referring here? As I recall, TNI-AU already operate AMRAMM C-7

Arming the F-15EX with anything other than from Raytheon just doesn't make any sense.

Boeing still have backlog of F-15QA (Qatar variant).

Btw, that Israeli's Elbit System anti-jamming system might be for F-15QA as well (note: the article only suggesting, not confirming)

Actually it does make sense since we going to operate Rafale which Im pretty sure will carry EU made missiles, it will make logistic easier isnt it? Eagle is meant to replace Sukhoi in the future, now if we look the missiles list of our Sukhoi it shows how they going to be use or their role in AU book. AShM, ARM, ASM, must be avaiable for the Eagle since we know the role wouldnt just be air supperiority. If we got denied using latest harpoon/AGM-88 HARM/LRASM/etc we gotta be sure we can install/integrate EU base missiles to replace the missing missiles type/role. We dont want our Eagle to only carry AMRAMM C & Maverick to fo her duty do we? 😁

Its more less what i am try to said its why they ( US ) didn't Offer F-15 for the first place lot of new sensitif core tech high tech that they implement on EX also they itended F-15 for the Need of USAF first.
It's US ( Indo MoD ) who see this as " oppurtunety " after get rejected to procure lithning II and they just offer viper instead while boeing is offering their Super hornet blok 3 , it Us who deter to ask the eagle's . In my personal opinion its not imposible to get F15 but for EX version i realy doubt it. But again i belive they (MoD) trying their best. Well its enugh from me , allow me to my comfort zone at Hura Percoyo Yen Hura Ono Photone regard

Curiously, judging from Boeing official videos on both plane, they brand the F-15EX as a new plane while branding the Super Hornet block 3 as a major upgrade. I'm guessing Boeing real intention is offering the F-15EX for export market, while the Super Hornet block 3 is intended for USN, thus their use of "major upgrade" nomenclature to make it easier to sell to the USN & US Congress

Interestingly, USAF EX doesn't have any missile approach warning censor installed. Even the "old" advance Eagle export version like SG have them.
