Is it me or second KAAN is same as the first? Where are the changes that were supposed to be tested with new prototypes?

Apart from subsystems, electro-optics, etc. perhaps the nose is different?

More than likely we'll see several changes made, my bet is that the canopy design will be slightly altered. Purely from an aesthetic standpoint, I really want to see it with a coating.

I think the changes could be mostly internal?

250 Kaan? Where did he get that number?
"The Multiple Bomb Release System, which provides the opportunity to engage 8 different targets in one sortie, is planned to be integrated into approximately 250 aircraft planned to be delivered to the Turkish Air Force."

Turkish Armed Forces plans to order 250 Kaan. In addition, thanks to the multiple bomb release to be developed, 8 different targets will be able to be hit in a single sortie.

TAI's Azerbaijan subsidiary was opened. The company will focus on modernization projects and collaborations in the Kaan project.
Sheesh. With 250 Kaan, TuAF would put every airforce to shame (apart from USAF).

250 Kaan jets will cost Turkey $25 billion, assuming the estimated price of $100 million a jet doesn't change.

Considering the price tag of a single KAAN fighter, I wonder if we will ever see any future derivative of KAAN, sort of like how the FB-22 Strike Raptor was meant to be a derivative of F-22 or how Rafale B is a derivative of A.

I mean, PLAAF already inducted 200+ J20A and in the process of inducting hundreds more + there could be J31, so....

93% of the money that will go into the making of 250 Kaan fighters will stay in the Turkish economy so not a big deal how much it costs. At 100 million a pop it can even be considered cheap. And we get to pay for it over a decades time.

No Özgür will have Aselsan Sadak. Altınay designs pylons compatible with the internal weapons bay.
Anything we can read up on that? Altınay literally shows images of Sadak with Aselsan wording removed on its website. It looks more possible that Altınay will produce the Sadak series and not Aselsan.
