Sudan is not given long range weapons that can be used with their drones. Türkiye should give them some Kemankeş cruise missiles and IHA-230.

That's the crux. They are using MAMs on Akıncı. It's a glorified TB2. Useless for modern proxy war, when the other side can deploy medium range SAMs on spot. We're not in 2020 anymore.

The TB2 was originally developed for operations against armed groups without air defense. Given the gradual phaseout of the A10 and Su-25 attack aircraft, fragile the TB2 is even less suited for this role.
(In Ukraine, the TB2 no longer flies at the front or in operational depth, but only over the Black Sea, where the Russians cannot control the airspace.)
I think the same can be said about the Akinci. But the Akinci has many advantages over the TB2: it can fly higher, carry a larger payload, and carry relatively long-range missiles.
If Selçuk Bayraktar had been told 10 or 15 years ago that the TB2 he created would see action in intense combat, he probably would have been very surprised.

Turns out that TB3 is using a 200hp engine moving up from the 170hp PD170 as their first engine. However as the hp goes up engine life becomes shorter.

The best munitions for the Akıncı are the ÇAKIR and the İHA-230. If Akıncı uses these weapons effectively, it can easily surpass the TB2 in capability. However, using MAM-L with the Akıncı feels pointless and unfortunately damages its prestige.

If footage emerges showing air defense systems being destroyed in Sudan with the İHA-230 (which has a 150+ km range), it could restore its reputation

I am not sure about our Surveillance capabilities in Sudan but guess as we all know that the issue is not just about MAMs, Kemankeş IHA 230 or Çakır or the rest from a seemingly endless list of ammunitions ..... but definitly Surveillance is also crucial i.e SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT in line with them EW and ECM capabilities either with on board systems or Land based ones.

Not just during our operations in Syria or Iraq But we should be able to provide these essentials satisfactoraly during our overseas operations like Sudan

If ASELFIR-500/600 was used in Sudan, it could easily detect air defense systems from 60–80 km away. I don’t think there’s a problem with image intelligence; on the contrary, it’s possible that long-range munitions were simply not provided to Sudan.

Integrated into our KIZILELMA."*

🔴 ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol:

"KIZILELMA’s electro-optical surveillance system and radar system are here. These two products are of a complexity that only 2–3 companies in the world could achieve.

God willing, we’ll see KIZILELMA in the inventory next year. It will be a game-changer in the UAV world and open a new chapter. It will have a multiplier effect in Türkiye.

A similar version of this system’s camera and passive radar is also being used in KAAN."

probably 5 or 6 prototypes were integrated
