I was wondering are these electrically propelled small UAVs radiate enough heats for IR missiles (like HISAR A) to lock onto?
They generate heat up to 180°C on their magnets as this is usually how much the magnet can take without failing. They will surely pick this up in close distance but how close needs to be tested.

Whether or not they can be locked onto by HİSAR, it's worth considering that a lot of FPV drones are skimming the ground far too low for air defence missiles to hit. Especially the wired variants.

This is a massive dilemma and for now the only option is to have anti-drone air defences nearby.

I think in a few years we'll see counter-drone drones "docked" to a lot of military vehicles including sophisticated mid-long range AA systems. As the software on these improves they'll be highly effective at instantly detecting and destroying incoming drones. We could also see APS-like systems designed for small drones that uses standard small caliber rounds.

I'm surprised Sudan has Hisar. It was purchased by Saudis or Qataris maybe?
Sometimes we provide them for free for test purposes. (as an example, YIHA-III now Sivrisinek to Azerbaijan or Ukraine and Pakistan)
I'm sure we'll get some valuable lessons from the feedback.

The same scenario played in Ukraine over and over and over again, for both sides. Any air defence or vehicle within drone range has to have C-UAS of some type with it or it is very likely to get blown up. And you don't even need heat seeking or anything, camouflage it all you want, these drones have cameras and they simple target the armoured vehicle looking thing, again, proven in Ukraine with hundreds of videos at this point.

May it be an American israili Russian German English or Turkish system, everything can be hit by drones, given the right circumstances. We have seen it several times.

Hisar scored the hits recently in The Gulf, here unfortunately it was destroyed. In war things get destroyed and it is more important to learn a lesson. The lessons from the failures are lot more valuable.
I am almost sure that someone from Turkish Armed Forces personal was there to observe operational capability.
THAAD was destroyed recently, and quite few Iron Dome units, and we are talking here about the people who really have long experience in these kind of situations.
Shit happens and things go on

Besides soldiers also send five medium class UGVs, equipped with anti-drone systems, with those LCTs and most parts of the problem will be solved. Imo you could put 12,7 mm MKE TOLGA or ASELSAN MİĞFER on four UGVs and put a radar plus acoustic sensor on the last one. No?
Didn't know we have Şahin Lite.
BARKAN 3 should be enough.

I swear our defence industry brochures exist to irk me. Who the hell writes "12 calibre"? It is .50 calibre or 12.7 mm.

Also, @Kaan Azman , is there any chance you can upload the photo of Şahin Lite by itself? It isn't in the article (I think one of the bullet photos were supposed to be that one) and I'm curious about how small it was.

I am surprised to know Sudan got a Hisar, I wasn't aware that we had exported to them.
