Gürz will also have a 6x6 variant (truck or apc)
Photos are very interesting. This might be the 5th Gürz variant we saw over the years. Not different variants or models but placement of the systems. They change continuously. It still doesn't look like a final product. All that workload of multiple sensors and weapons systems being offloaded onto 1-2 men is probably too much work.

New AF-400 and the 12,7mm gun are what i see this time. This is an elephant, should be no less than 30 tons. No way an 6x6 variant is this loaded.

Yup. And on these last photos, radar placement at the back is different than all that was shown so far. We have like 7 different radar placements on Gürz over the years. Most probably they have issues with coverage and interference from other sensors, trying to come up with the least bad solution.

If we put this anywhere close to front line it would be blown to pieces before the end of its first week, by a drone.

Just look at the cannon, the truck and the sensors on it block its view completely. It is ridiculously susceptible to anything flying low, hell, not even that low! If it can fire on the move, I can see it as a good option to accompany armoured columns, or defending backline command posts but that's it.

This is a easily relocatable point defense system, it's not designed to move around when fighting like Korkut or Hisar-A. Gürz will be mainly for installation defence. Think bases on the periphery, Syria, Somalia, Libya.

That is what I didn't understand from the beginning. Why the placement of gun buried that way, and why they dont the raise the position of the gun above the sensors. It shouldnt be that hard, just look at Pantsir

We should remember that Pantsir is a shit ass weapons platform and Gürz was built as a better Pantsir in every way imaginable, literally from a captured Pantsir. First ever released Gürz image was basically a Pantsir with 35mm gun.

there are also variants which are more mobile but lack the sensors and short range missiles Like gürz 150

I know that, but that does not mean their gun placement looks worse than us. There is no point to bury the gun and reduce effectiveness against low flying uavs like lets say 10 or 20 percent. I am not an expert but it is a common sense, the gun should be raised above the sensor.

However, if the benefit of this current placement outweighs the costs, i really like to know these benefits

Wonder how much it cost with all the sensors etc.
Pantsir which is equal to wheeled Korkut costs app 20million USD.
Most of costs are radar and missiles.

İf the deal is finished, What a pitty for KSA as well as for Türkiye.

We could have supplied Korkut.

Akbaba claimed few months ago that Saudi ordered and even took delivery of Korkut.

I think it's high time Atılgans are replaced with Burç. Remaining Atılgans can be modernized and employed on installation defense.

I counted 8 launchers.
Well, it has 2 Sungur pods and one pod has 4 missiles. Burç can have 20 or 30 mm cannon, according to Roketsan's website. I can't remember, have they showed ATOM munition for either of the calibres? I'm curious to see which cannon they'll choose for serial production.
