The TOG flamethrower was approved #OTD in 1941. This was a single shot flamethrower that could be installed in batteries of three to add extra firepower to any tank. T-34 or KV tanks could carry six TOG flamethrowers. #tanks #history #WW2 #WWII.

The SG-122 consisted of a Soviet superstructure built on a captured Pz.Kpfw.III chassis. Trials that began #OTD in 1942 were successful, but a shortage of Pz.Kpfw.III captured in good condition killed the project. #tanks #history #WW2 #WWII.
