Think it as a flying NASAMS, it can surely intercept basic drones and cruise missiles, as we are seeing the importance of that in ukraine. That way fighters and other systems can focus on different threats. A flying system is especially more effective against low flying targets.

At the end of the day, Turkish includes many words from Persian, Arabic and French, and Persian words are some of the nicer ones admittedly, more deeply embedded in our culture and literature. Some very basic root words also have common origin between Turkish and Persian ( aş , eş ) etc

F35 does have really bad management though. They produced 1000 without getting it to a baseline quality and performance and now they all need very expensive upgrades and non US customers decided to not go for the upgrade, creating a mess of variances. Plus the integration of european munitions...
