RTE may have sold off the operation against YPG/PKK in exchange to lifting some sanctions
It's weirder than that. Looks like the lifted sanctions are the same ones that were put in place to stop Turkey from doing this operation in the first place. These are the "sanction bodies" that would be used to further sanction Turkish entities if Turkey undertook an operation. Them being removed means what, I have no idea.

The last 1-year net improvement in the net foreign reserves of Turkey reached a staggering 120 billion dollars
Moreover, it is reported that the TCMB will report the highest gross reserves ever recorded in the history of Turkey this Thursday with the highest net reserves in the history of the republic to be announced within a month or two as it is still a bit below the highest ever recorded amount

Do you know how much people have been taxed to get back from the brink of death Erdogans, "I don't believe in interest rates" brought upon the people ?

Well... that's good news, but what's the ROI (Return on Investment) on these ? Feasibility report, and who's scoring the profit and all those questions that you'd normally ask. A quick calculation shows aprox saving 6 billion/year

Let's see how this impacts us. I am sure these raw products are worth more when WW3 breaks out. So keeping them close at home would be better. Also for construction works and such. imo.

Plus I'd prefer we exported higher value added goods.
