Of course, it is possible that west is questioning the advance of turkish drones in battlefield because it works. I quadruple checked. If tb2's were not impressive, western parts suppilers were not eager to advertise their electro optics by saying "it is precise, we made it" kind of...

Arent pw engines going to be problem for exports same as cts800 engines? Also, as far as i know, there will be high power variant of ai450 which is expected to be 750hp for akinci b. Now learning that it is actually pw engine suprised me.

It seem wing area a bit smaller than expected. That is may be why they added canards to make it increase payload. Also, they wanted to increase instability by reducing wing loading, therefore it became more agile. I could not think of that drone reaching around mach 1,5 and pulling around 9g's...

There has to be different variant of ts1400 engine from 500 shp to 3000shp would replace the platforms like akinci to t929. Ts1400 would give enough muscle to fly high and with higher payload but flying duration would go down considerably. Also it is design to work with helicopter that reaches...

TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

Muis is not f16. However, it could be used wingman to f16s. It reduces loss risk, flight lifetime and quite a problem for adversaries. Heck, even tb2s causes Greek f16s to take off. Then, they started tu arm texans as low cost alternative. However, a manouverable subsonic drones with aa...

What do you really expect from Turkey? To make f135 class engine within blink of an eye? Today's predator engine (tpe331) designed beginning 1950s and certified 1965. There was not any intention of making engines 15 years ago Turkey does not have tens of billion dollars budget to develop...

I would not say there wont be any dogfights but it is obvious in a war situation, it will begin with bvr missiles , then wvr missiles, after that go for guns usually.

I remember that Mr Aksit mentioned long time ago in an interview that ts1400 is capable of generating 1600shp for a short period of time under emergency conditions.

I believe China is ahead of aviation technology especially in engine and fighter technology so USA is. However, there are many countries in f35 programme although US industry is capable enough to do it domestically. The problem is about cost rather than capability. I do not think that Turkey and...

We see such tweets about Turkey but when it comes to Saudi dictators, Us and some "Libertarian Us puppets that send its sam batteries" do not embargo but fully support those "dictators" that kills a journalist with suicide teams, bombs thousands of civilians in Yemen. So, it is clear the problem...

What i mean is not only drone price but gcs and munitions as well. Akinci buyer will order larger bombs, electronic equipments smart munitions like mam-t, som, teber82, hgk83. Then price will go up per unit. Lets assume my expectation per unit as "gross price".

Given 3 anka-s sold 80m usd with munitions and 3 ground station, aksungur and akinci should make around 50 and 80 millions of dollars respectively. Predator b sales per unit is more than 125m usd.

Even subsonic ones that are capable enough of m0.8, around 6 to 8 hardpoints with aam and air to ground munitions (1500kg payload) could be damn deterrent against any adversary. 100 of them with awacs and sam suppport would make them deadly swarms of drones.

    Greece Air-Force Greek Rafale Program

So what happens if f16 intercepted by a rafale. They will "shoot down" without noticing and go back. I hardly think so. To have an bvr fight, one side should fire its missile when they engage. An f16 is capable of doing it. Then, why there has been dog fights between both countries...

I would like to see some rafale on board video chasing f16. We do not really know how they compare to each other since there is nothing shared from anatolian eagle. I am sure Greeks would be eager to demonstrate superiority of rafales against f16s.
