At least 8. Don't forget there will also be a MUGEM and maybe a drone mothership. I'm ok with 4 TF2000+4 light TF-2000.

    Interesting, another coincidence.

I don't want anything lighter than 5000t. The light TF-2000 should be between 5000-6000t closer to the latter. It should not be a heavy frigate; it should be a light destroyer. Parameters like endurance, VLS count should be closer to a destroyer rather than a frigate. After a corvette-sized FAC...

TF-35000 is an important project. GE/US would like to get as much data as possible about the engine, even if it is technologically backwards from their latest and greatest. And it is not just the engine data. If you are the main contractor of an engine that is being developed exclusively for a...

Akşit can tell whatever he wants. GE has seats in the board, has the backing of the US and GE is the biggest job provider for TEI and GE has a word for whatever happens in TEI. You can't just hide data from your second biggest shareholder when your company is the owner/main contractor of the...

GE/US can get access to sensitive data about the fighter and the engine if the main contractor is TEI. That alone is enough reason for this approach. GE will also get a bigger pie if TEI is the main contractor. The main contractor, which owns the IP rights, sells the engines this is the reason...

GE owns %46.2 of TEI shares, TUSAS owns %50.5. %3.3 of the shares is owned by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. SSB doesn't want TEI to hold IP rights of the engine because of this distribution of the shares. TUSAS owns %100 of TRMotor, and Turkish Armed Forces Foundation owns %54.5 of TUSAS...

No. There is no partnership-level foreign assistance in this project. I heard from someone that TRMotor recruited some Ukrainian engineers, but I couldn't confirm it.

TF-35000 is a multi-company, multi-team project. Although TEI has the lionshare, TRMotors' own design team is as big as the TEI team. Total employees that work on TF-35000 can't be compared to TF-6000/10000. The TRMotor team is very active on the design side of the engine together with the TEI...

There is nothing that can be confirmed by anyone as of now as the project is highly confidential but we can still speculate if we have a look at Tayfun project. Cenk project will be a long journey. There will be more variants compared to the Tayfun project. Range, speed, capability, and warhead...

The scaled version of the afterburner stage has all the functions of the full-scale afterburner stage. An afterburner is developed and produced for the first time by TEI, so TEI produced a scaled-down version as a proof of concept. Designing/verifying fuel injectors and aerodynamics of the...

I can't because the Akbaba project is classified, but the information came from someone well-known who visited the test squadron and saw the Akbaba missile. I think this much info and hinting is enough for everyone.

Aselpod 2 is progressing smoothly. It will have an IRST function, multiple datalinks, and will have network capability.

Yes, I have. Rocketsan's solid fuel ramjet is fired from an F-16 in the scope of Akbaba project. Roketsan's solid fuel ramjet is like %90 ready. Gökbora will also progress fast both Akbaba and Gökbora use nearly the same engine. Tubitak needs some more time but not much.
