But twin 25mm ATOM could have been an awesome CIWS. I think Phallanx is atm the optimum CIWS and bare minimum our vessels should have. I do hope we can get some punching power on our FAC, perhaps some loitering ammo, but what payload would it take for these to damage radar and sensors

An interesting detail, Lürssen were given blueprints of OPB that was Turkish design ( I think it was OPB84) TSK decision not the designers. I think Lürssen built 39 or more of them.
