You should not compare a first engine make of a company to its second make, it would take half the time. Also the fact that Kızılelma is uncrewed makes it acceptable to power it with an unproven engine. I would say it should take 2-3 new builds before TEI is confident that the engine will fly...
Kızılelma has been flying the longest and is probably the longest along towards maturing. Considering Turkish makers' risk averse approach it should be Kızılelma taking the risk of an accident from flying with an unproven engine but also moving in development first.
Still no words from Baykar, like they are not involved, LOL. Baykar will be using Ukrainian engines for the foreseable future until they move on to some other engine. Not to be mistaken though I do want Baykar to use the TF6 but I will take their word over others'.
Who is anyone to say anything about what a private company will do other than their sole owners. Baykar never said they will use the TF6000. It takes 5 years to make an engine but it already took several of those years.
We wanted our money back because they wouldn't give us the planes covered by the money. If they have changed their mind and will deliver us the planes then why not. If they want us to buy more planes that is not acceptable by us. If they want us to supply parts to their F35 production I would...
If we have to make an engine to fit Hürjet it wouldn't be in GE's best interests, so they better sell an engine for it than not. I would also consider making a twin engine plane with the upcoming TF10.
Levent close in air defense system rocket on display in full size. I wonder if the canisters can be refilled during mission or it requires a port visit like the MIDLAS.
Curious if the 8 prototypes of Kaan will be converted to production grade and delivered to users once development ends or stay in house for some purpose.
