TF6000 has a bypass ratio 0f 1.08:1 while AE 3007C engine of Global Hawk has a bypass ratio of 5:1. Power levels of the engines are similar though which means the TF6000 can be converted to high bypass without too much effort.

At some point the design team of TEI will be relieved from work on the design of the TF35000 engine which is when they can and will be willing to take on new challenges. I would give it 3 years for TEI to start work on a relatively high bypass engine to power relatively fast subsonic planes.

What matters is how much useful load it carries. It is all about physics, there is no magic in this. It has to carry fuel for the duration, speed and the MTOW of the mission. It also needs to carry enough ammo and the right sensors for the mission. So the plane being able to take off or land...

I don't think they will push that hard to get there. They have to thread safely to avoid mishaps.

Probably mostly engine issues. A single engine working too hard to power a plane is like a single parent supporting the family. Our TFX will have both parents active.
