I mean, some of the high end Chinese technologies only started to mature recently. See WS-15, it is still in the test phase. On the other hand are Germans are the leading entity in marine engine technologies. There is still a lot that PRC can gain by spying. @Nilgiri probably could tell More on...

Very unlikely.

You beat me to it. I was listening to him yesterday. Good analysis.

Wrong massage, I am not praising anyone. Just explaining my understanding of the purchase from a technical point of view. No political optics involved.

The only relevant question here is, can MaRG 155/39-BR do its job? The answer is yes. It is a very lightweight 4x4 system but equipped with digital fire control solution like any other modern howitzers. (See the muzzle velocity radar and the artillery positioning and pointing system behind...

I would say, this is a far fetched theory. India is big enough to make these types of decisions independently. They are just making some bucks and earning some prestige by these exports. If USA decides to truly support Armenia, it would be more visible and you definitely feel it.

PL-17 size missile cannot be carried inside weapon bay. Also, it is only meant to arm Chinese flankers. LO platforms don't need them because they can get much closer.

The reality is, PRC government nor the PLA officially made any such claim. Some researchers in a paper talking about a concept, not an actual thing.

Yeah, doesn't seem wise. What's up with President Erdogan? Doesn't he listen to his advisors or what?

Yes, that's what they are saying. First stage fell into Iraq. It is likely there was no casualties and Iran quietly swallowed the hit.

Thanks to ASELSAN, Türkiye is now one of few countries that can manufacture state of art 'Radio Detection And Ranging' sensors in various scales and types. If you were keeping tab on Aselsan since 2010, you gotta admit it's been a spectacular journey.

Everybody expected this– But now we are learning the attack was maybe with something like this–

Those looks like explosions in the air. Dozens of them! 🤔

It almsot like you are talking about me? Here's what I said two days ago. Again, I am talking about Israel's ability to carry out large scale protracted air war over Iran across the distance on its own. Not limited airstrikes with F35s and stand off strikes. My position hasn't changed.

Yes, that is true in case of Israel. But I was only making a general observation. You are right. Iirc, Simsek will have advanced feature of mimicking aircraft's radar signature like ADM-160 MALD. Consequently, enemy AD will likely have hard time distinguishing.
