There is precisely one assumption (the current turboshaft being developed meeting its stated objective). The latter (conversion to turboprop, or vice versa) is pretty standard one keeping proven core same. Nothing being assumed there, its literally dictated by the rpm envelope.

They will be approximately the same (i.e assume 1400 shp met in current configuration for turboshaft, and same core used for turboprop). Turboprop might have slightly more HP (and higher sfc and slight lower power/weight) as its max rpm (for the power turbine) will be higher given smaller...

Indian recent FDI table is released: https://dipp.gov.in/sites/default/files/FDI%20Factsheet%20December%2020.pdf What stood out to me especially are the two big jumps in computer related industry (hopefully hardware got a good chunk) and also construction/infra....to make up for a few drops in...

I propose vergennes as emperor for life of the 6th French republic.

I remember some of his best moments so well..... 1997, 98, 99, 00 up to about 04 season it would be him and brundle so many times.

Some of his pronunciation triggered me....but there's some good context and humour along with the info. "Residual trauma from tanks from WW2" probably made me chuckle the most heh @Vergennes et al: Was the bulky upgrade worth it for the FAMAS FELIN system? Ooh La' La' either way it's a...

Overall a good take, uncleji spends way too long I feel repeating some points though heh. 10 minute video would have been enough imo. One point I wouldn't have quite used in way it was done a few time ...is the comparison was with textile industry (w.r.t Britain/India colonisation + captive...

They look like happy chaps 😁

The pressure is equalized within torpedo tube before firing (i.e by introducing sea water to the tube at the depth being fired at). There is thus no net effect from the sea pressure depth as the torpedo is essentially floating at fire condition. (it would be impossible to fire a torpedo at...

Where is the evidence of this pledge by the US w.r.t northern alliance?

Honestly Pakistan dispensation continued approaching/fan-boying US for military gear after OBL raid.... strikes me as a number of things (regarding that lot)....none of them good. There is seemingly next to no attention to the basic structure of how the Pentagon even works, and the inertia of...

The role of (govenors) G.C Saxena and especially K.V Krishna Rao, cannot be understated. They inherited a grave situation, and tried their best to both ramp up security force presence but balance the importance of earning (often torturously slow) local trust and local policing...at very...

Yes this would be the exact kind of thing thats needed to do it. But it would be a new core design. You have fundamentally changed the innards concept...by using axial compressor....the whole diameters and geometries and channels etc... would change...along with the impact loads on the spools...

Could we get a short summary in English of the main salient points?
