The news that FETÖ leader Gülen has arrived in Turkey is not true.

However, there are serious conflicts between factions within FETÖ.

Sources I spoke to said that after Gülen's death, his relatives were taken to another settlement to take over the leadership of the organization themselves,

They also say that Gülen is not allowed to meet his family members.

The guy is dying; there are groupings inside the cult. One of the weaker groupings is trying to claim leadership after his death so they are trying to win over some of the foot soldiers (and those in prisons) by giving them hope about a "clean" core which was corrupted by only a limited gang with privileged access to the leader. The limited gang is another grouping, but probably the strongest one. The aforementioned weaker grouping, seeing no future under the next leadership from the gang, is trying to either cling on to power (by attacking the gang and defaming them, hence ensuring ruptures in their ranks) or try to make amends with the ruling party and come back. Whatever this Ebuseleme guy has said is full of contradictions, and all feigning of ignorance is simply not compatible with the cult's history and many known facts. They are not so discreetly trying to appeal to the emotions of the ruling party sympathizers, and the "oh so simple" stories about corruption by money and nothing else is just laughable.

P.S. Ahmet Dönmez' whole shtick of being shocked and acting like he's hearing these names for the first time or that he doesn't know Ebuseleme is hilarious as well. One "follower overlap" on twitter of both Ebuseleme and Ahmet Dönmez, and a comparison of the differences of this overlapping crowd with the overlapping of the opposing faction will give you quite a clear picture of the groupings btw.
