I don’t wanna start a forum war here but I held him at a higher level than most Hollywood “giants”. He was really a master of his art in his own right.
Rest in peace.
Yes he was one of the better ones.
He played the more complicated roles(good but bad).

@Ripley ,seen what Trump did to Zelensky?
X timeline, YouTube, et al, it’s all over the place.

Diplomacy is a trade of ‘able’ men whereas military and politics are undertaken by ‘doers’. Nobody in that office were able persons. Yet, being as the tough, rough doers, the idiotic American duo chose to play Texas hold ‘em with their cards face up and Zelenskyy as desperate as he is, took on the game! As a result, both sides get humiliated.

Talleyrand, Napoleon‘s iconic Minister of Foreign Affairs, before The Congress of Vienna commenced, quipped "Above all, gentlemen, not the slightest zeal!”

Too much eagerness, too much zeal and only one winner attitude end up with losers on both sides.
This was a disastrous moment at US foreign policy. The whole world watched a head of state getting bullied at the Oval Office.

On a lighter note, have you seen what Zelenskyy ”blurred” while Vance was giving it to him?

It was a trap for Zelensky,he took the bait but still managed to make them look like fools.
The bad thing is that this doesnt help Ukraine.

I really wonder how the hell Boeing managed to do that? As far as I know, B767 has an very reliable airframe.

They were screwing up their new projects but they are screwing up their old aircrafts as well. (Putting aside the complete clusterfuck of the KC46 project. Only thing working was the airframe but well.)

Aviation industry’s iconic standard bearer who set the rules. Unbelievable.

More like to do with the US in general.

Take a look at their road, rails, bridge etc infrastructure, never renewed or updated.
Obama and Biden tried at least.
Same goes for companies,Boeing was the nr 1 in the world but it didnt or very slow update all the manufacturing facilities, not much investment in new improved production methods, upgrades etc.
Same goes for ship building.
