Questionable squad the coach picked, there are players who aren't even playing for their clubs but somehow they are invited to the national team. He clearly doesn't follow the Turkish players in and outside of Türkiye. Hakan Calhanoglu is not a leader that f*cktard has no passion nor authority.
If you don't want to rip you a** apart for the flag on the jersey, then f*ck off, there are others who would.

Against Spain you don't play for the 3 points, you aim for a draw, wall, press and counter attack. But i don't know what Nutella was trying to play, aq random mf's playing in the park come up with tactics but somehow these shameless b*tches are not capable for that.

PS: those mf's owe me a coffee table.

Guys, I can understand your anger but none of us had probably put point(s) for Spain games when the draws made, right? We all knew that we would have to go through elimination round.
True, score is infuriating but you are playing against Spain.
They have football culture that revolutionized football to its core. And after lagging couple tournaments, they are coming back even worse than before because now they have their own young Messi’s on their wings and those kids are terminators. DA BEST TEAM in the world, hands down.

We, on the other hand, have a good, talented, young(ish) and respectable squad which should make us have high hopes. Nevertheless, you can not, repeat, you can not play with one defender midfield against such a fast pacing and passing team. That was Montella’s biggest f*** up.

Anyways, let’s sit tight, win two Bulgaria games and see what happens. 🤞

@CAN_TR sorry for the coffee table. Chill out bro 😇

Its not about losing against Spain but how.
Bulgaria(fifa 84) 0 - 3 Spain
Türkiye(fifa 27) 0 - 6 Spain

This game was an insult!!!

The biggest defeat at an official game since Turkey vs England in 1987, actually.
There is no fire,to much satisfaction, lazy fucks.
But it is in the genes, hard to get it out.
Take a look at history,we dont act we only react.
This started after the 16/1700's,to much wrong mixing with other races.
Now the killer mentality is gone/rare in our society, passive.

There is nothing questionable with the squad or starting lineup. We lost this heavily because of tactical mistakes. If you try to compete against Spain on equal terms, this is what happens. We should have parked the bus. We could have still lost this game, but it wouldn't have been like that.

This is what happens when you want to have as much ball possession against a technically superior team. We should have defended well at the back and looked out for counterattack opportunities.

Ball possession 50%/50%
Acc Pass/Total Passes 443/506 vs 470/526

The truth us that Poland is actually playing great basketball and they reached the semifinals last Eurobasket too so they for sure are not a bad team.
Mateusz Ponitka in FIBA tournaments is class and Jordan Lloyd is having a crazy tournament with like 26PPG which is huge for FIBA basketball. Balcerowski is a good center too.

The truth is that there aren’t any weak teams anymore in the tournament and everything can happen in just one game. Go ask Serbia and France…

“ DA BEST TEAM in the world, hands down.”

Luis de la Fuente, head coach of Spain, explains how they have become the best team in the world

👇🏼

Spain National Team Coach Luis de la Fuente: "What you saw here this evening is not the product of today. This is the product of a very long process. At the foundation of this work are the clubs, the youth developers. We are the people who take the final step. The players go through a very long process. They arrive here with that continuity. Here, there's a combination of two things: on one side, there's a model, and on the other side, there are very talented players coming from that development and continuity. This is the combination of those two."

He’s telling it from first-hand account because he was a ‘piece’ of the process. Just like the players on the team.
Just look at his coaching career at various levels of Spanish national teams.

That’s how you become world beaters. Not by appointing some schmuck’s nephew as coach to youth teams with a call from another big head.
Of course you can’t beat them

Interesting how Basketball and the Womens volleyball success all got overshadowed by the shitty football team.

Honestly until we stop treating football like a religion is when things will get better.

Ayhancan Guven is killing it in DTM I barely see any proper news about the guy. If a Turkish racing driver wins Lemans I wonder will it make big headlines? Whats the point in bringing success to your country when it barely makes any news.

I cant believe it this humilating loss has overshadowed everything.

It's mad seeing the back 4 for Turkiye and Demiral being the only guy who plays anything near to high-level football. Add in Lazyhanoglu in midfield and AKP"turk"oglu upfront, that's half the team being useless at any level above Turkish Super Lig. I still don't understand how we have shithounds like him and Yilmaz playing striker roles, both don't have the physicality or touch for reactive football and can't even read what the midfield is doing.
