You can't act like a normal Country when you're unlucky enough to be located in the Middle East. The only language the backwards neighbors and the traitors inside understand, is violence. Or do you think Türkiye can be governed like Germany? :D

I think Turkey can be governed without executing people for words and thoughts.
We are not in the Middle Ages or in Stalins Soviet Union.

Another idea:

Push these people out of polite society. Cut off their foreign "NGO funding" support. Make a deal with social media giants and restrict their reach. Fund anti-NGOs who will doxx them, write exposes about them, cancel them, de-bank them, make it hard for them to get jobs. All of these can be done with "anti-terror collaboration" between the state and private companies, without using the iron fist of the state. This is essentially what is done to the American alt-right and it killed their movement. Couple these with a few strategic laws that would cut off their reach into legitimate offices such as the parliament and justice system and you're golden.

Now, this is what I would do if I was the Tsar. But Tayyip utilizing these tactics is nightmare fuel because he would target the wrong people. Gılışdar, too. But this is how you kill social movements nowadays.

Unlikely, majority of Muslims lives in south east Asia. And there is no point for us to go to war with the West.
We are already at war with them. But it's mostly a cold war. The West has soldiers all over Muslim countries and are doing all they can to keep us weak and disunited. They are in Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Qatar, etc. They are involved in the wars in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Libya, and only just recently withdrew reluctantly from Afghanistan. They are directly involved in subversive terror activities such as the 2016 coup in Turkey, the present coup in Pakistan, Lebanon's economic and political crises, Iran's color revolutions, Iraq's instability, etc. Their fingerprints are visible on almost every single problem faced by any Muslim country on Earth. They are quick to condemn Erdogan as an autocrat or even a dictator. Yet they forcibly install murderous dictators over Muslims in Egypt and Tunisia and seek to do that in Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Qatar.

WE ARE ALREADY AT WAR WITH THE WEST. To deny this is to be naive.

Any method who successfully gets rid of traitors is fine by me.

The political parties that embrace these historical lies and give a pat on the back to certain countries and lobbies do not and will never belong to these lands. One of the biggest problems of this country is those who hide their true identity and systematically indoctrinate the masses with radical hostility towards Türkiye and being a Turk.

All i can see is, you are blaming it all on 'bad evil west' for taking advantage of Muslim countries own incompetence and weaknesses.

Also, you don’t seem to understand that, this collective 'WE vs THEY' of yours doesn’t really exist in 21th century, neither in Muslim world nor in the West.
Today's foreign policy goals and strategic alignments are governed by Nation State’s principles, not by religious solidarity alone.

Note- If you want to reply further I suggest you do it here. (Let’s not derail the thread anymore)

Well in that case call me naive.
Because I dont see any rockets flying over Edirne. Neither do I see an economic war, because exports to Europe are flourishing.
Plenty of things happen before the rockets start to fly. We just aren't at the point of trading missiles yet, but we are headed in that direction fast (I mean the point where the Muslims will fight back and win. We always did. If you doubt this, ask Arnold J. Toynbee).

As for the flourishing exports to Europe, Erdogan already tricked Europe into investing over $120 billion in Turkey over the last 2 decades. It'll take some time for Europe to disentangle from Turkey. But by then, the alternative markets Turkiye is nurturing in Africa and Asia are mature and can replace Europe. Maybe you haven't noticed the gradual reorientation of Turkiye's economy from Europe to Asia and Africa. They will have little economic leverage over Turkiye a decade from now. Or at least, they can't sanction Turkiye without seriously harming their economies.

You can gauge the tension between Islam and the West by looking up some stats on Islamophobia. How would you explain that? Also, what do you think of the high anti-American sentiments in every Muslim country - including in Turkiye? Over 80% of Turks consider America an enemy. Why would they hold such views since some of you guys here insist the U.S. is a true ally?

Minced meat costs 320 TL which is 15eur.
Veal costs 20eur.

And all economical results are faults of Erdoğan.
Turkish people aren't interested in other indicators.

The reason why Turkey's economy is poor is honestly quite simple, and that is primarily due to the fact that Turkey lacks Technology

Ignore the bullshit about interest rates and exchange rates as these are just one of the numerous mechanisms the big boys use to controll nations like Turkey

While obtaining own national energy will without a doubt alleviate Turkey's economic woes since nations that contribute near to nothing to their economy like KSA are living like kings while Turks are not, it isnt the only mechanism to achieve economic prosperity. Look at Japan and Korea as an example! Their exchange rates are way below Turkey's lira and their national resources are less while their population numbers are higher yet somehow they are way better off than the Turks and this is due to technology! They manufacture cars, cranes, bulldozers, ships, makeups, laptops, mobile phones etc..... in other words they produce products with soo much high-added value

When Erdogan announced the creation of Togg, I was happy because this was the TRUE solution to Turkey's problem! It is without a doubt a 1000000% step in the right direction only for him to get insulted by opposition and western media claiming that he is just wasting the people's money to build big fancy projects even though they themselves know that what Erdogan is doing is actually the right path

For both @Momentum and @Ryder
What Turkey is suffering from rn is the consequence of 70 years of negligence on politicians part! Ever since Ataturk died, and all the politicians who came after him were either traitours who obeyed the Western command of not building, not investing, and not communicating; thus, creating a Turkey that was isolated and stagnant while all Western states where soaring with the new era and trend.

However, the last 10 years were different in which Turkey finally started to catch up with the West in many fields and even surpass them in certain fields like drones; however, that did come at a price and that is that the West got alarmed. The West hates the idea of a strong Turkey and will never ever sit tight and watch Turkey build a strong technological base and that is why they embargoed many products on theyir way to Turkey such as high tech instruments or jet parts, engines, chips etc....

Just for your knowledge since this is the elections thread, as a part of Erdogan's campaign for the upcoming elections, he planned to reveal the first prototype of the TEI TF-6000 only for a part to be embargoes and the reveal date was postponed 6 months..... all of this just to ensure that Erdogan never gets re-elected

For @Momentum You need to know that no matter how much of an ingenious people the Turks are or how much are they intelligent or how much they are patriots, as long as the UPPER POLITICAL ADMINISTRATION has no WILL whatsoever to continue such projects at the expense of embargoes and antagonising the West, will find their defence and technological base quickly crumbling

This is what history proved to us after all especially in the case of late empires like the Ottomans or the current Russia

This election will truly determine the path Turkey takes. On its 100 anniversary, the people shall decide on either a path of fake economic prosperity with stagnation or a painful economic and military growth for the short to medium term

Never in my whole life have I ever saw an election soo instrumental to a nation's future just like this one

Turkey does not have the labour productivity to be rich. It also isn't the strongest country in the region and at no point will enter an armed conflict with the west. Any such rhetoric is useless and also dangerous.

This crazy idea that it is the century of Turkey or whatever is bullshit. The economy is bad, education is bad, the country is polarized and divided, spending money on the military is what Egypt does, there is academic brain drain, the TV is all full of useless yes men on channels, people make a premium out of empty nationalism, nothing goes anywhere

Also isn't the strongest in the region either, sure overpower Greece but any conflict with Greece will involve the west, like Ukraine. Erdogan is also very scared of Iran, avoids any conflict with Iran. For good reason, Iran's army is over a million strong and believe in self sacrifice and human wave attacks, they are willing to die for the ayatollah in ways no Turk will die for Erdogan

Dying for Erdogan?
Confronting Iran in Syria, Libya, Iraq and countering its influence isnt in Erdogan's favour alone but for Turkey's sake as a whole. Stop listening to Western media which portrays Turkey's foreign endeavours as Erdogan's lust for power rather than serving Turkish geopolitical interest

The only problem is Iran fanatics who can just blow themselves up just like the Russians.... Turkey cant afford facing such fanatics while it faces other enemies in the region

No one changes his statements as often as Kilicdaroglu
I wouldnt be surprised if the rate at which he changes his statements to satisfy the crowds is higher than the rate of him changing his underwear for gods sake
He is truly a joke of a politician and I still cant comprehend why he was picked as the presidential candidate
