At least he is addressing the problem. İnstead of creating it by saying we will be praying in umayyad mosque.

Erdogans la la land dreaming is easy to point while Kilicgaroglu promises he will fix a problem that wont be fixed.

Turkiye should be in syria for the long term.

If Syria cant get its act together then Turkiye is more than entitled to annex land.

If Turkiye needs to engage in imperialism to ensure its security it might as well have to.

Withdrawing from Syria and Iraq will be gping back square one.

Syria and Iraq are already failed states.

If Turkiye is in Syria and Iraq its to ensure its geopolitical goals and its national security.

Attacks by terrorist groups have decreased due to Turkiye going into Syria and Iraq and establishing themselves there.

In the 90s everytime Turkiye went into Iraq they would destroy pkk then go back to Turkiye. What happened next the pkk would nurse itself back to health and come back again.

Thats why I dont buy the belief that before the peace process pkk was on its last legs.

Peace process only bought time for pkk to recover.

Game changing plan hapoened when Turkiye went into countries establsihed bases and flying drones and airstrikes into the areas of where pkk is.

Kilictaroglu is naive if he thinks Assad will go abandon the pkk or if he thinks Iraq and Iraqi Kurds can deal with the pkk.

It was papa Assad who made PKK what it is in order to "reclaim lost lands." they should pay for what they have done.

Syria also wants Hatay back too.

Assad regime said once after this civil war will try to get Hatay back as compensation.

Assad regime even supported Al Qaeda in Iraq pre Isis look it up bro.

Turkiye should stay in Syria if they leave the Americans, Russians and the Iranians would be celebrating.

Ill do you one better:

Turkiye must show that chinless b**stard that it goes both ways.

There are 3.5 million of our flesh and blood in there, time for them to have their own state.

Turkmenli!!

Honestly if the Turkish Cypriots can have North Cyprus I want the Syrian Turkmens and Iraqi Turkmens their own state if its possible.

That would be a dream come true.

Wikipedia has a good overview of most of the polls being conducted.

Results are shown for 1st round and a potential 2nd round.

Note that the average of polls shows a complete tie now.

Erdogan is a master of elections and campaigning while his opponent is clueless. Erdogan has effectively closed a 15% percentage point gap in 1 month. There are two weeks till election. Pretty confident that Erdogan will come out on top. (I wasn't confident 2-4 weeks ago)
That's because you are new to Turkish politics. And others are simply manipulative.

It's very sad that the level of analysis by some in this forum is essentially on par with your average taxi driver. Our education system has failed our people. The PISA results haunt me in my dreams.

That is still not a legitimate reason for him being elected
So If I applied for the presidency, and stated that after I get elected, every1 will become a millionaire in 2 days because Europe likes me, then will you vote for me? After all, economic problem is the main cause of concern for the Turks

I will say it again, you ppl wanna Turkey to get better? Chose some1 better than Erdogan and not worse and trust me there are many out there who are better than Erdogan but I assure you Kilicdaroglu isnt one of them
You better name a few of them or just go silent.

Hahaha

Okay akp did this why is chp in bed with them?

I dont get you opposition voters you constantly whine about akp doing this which is of course bad while at the same time justify what chp is doing by doing deals with the devils.

Turkey is very polarized and as a result HDP will always be necessary in a coalition government for votes. The AKP approached Öcalan again and tried to get HDP support this time around too. Turkey will require a coalition government and if this is not fixed (unlikely, segments of society hate each other too much) the future is going to be coalition governments. See Iraq.

Iraq achieved this after multiple wars to get here, Turkey strong.

I honestly think RTE will win again. KK was the worst possible candidate. MY was leading the polls by a large margin. The fact that KK was chosen should make CHP supporters question the motives of the decision makers who made this happen. If you want to win the elections you choose the candidate who's leading the polls, not the one who's performing the worst, it's a no brainer.

It doesn't really matter who is the candidate. Opposition doesn't care about it. Anyone could be the candidate. Only thing they concern about is their enmity towards RTE. KK will get the same amount of votes as any other possible candidate like Ekrem or Yavas.

Klictaroglu also looks like Vahdettin no wonder.

Both are destined to lose.

Guys look at the bright side.

Its Sultan Abdulhamid II vs Sultan Vahdettin.

He was the leader of military wing of Hizbullah and was charged with 3 counts of torture and murder, while army generals and admirals are still inside. How nice. Friendship ended with ulusalcılar, now hizbullah is my best friend.

There'll just be another party with the same platform that will get the same votes. It's the demographics. That won't change.

Best thing about both Kılıçdaroğlu and Erdoğan is they are both old as F. Those old farts die and we can actually start to look forward.

You are calling a world leader who can attend 5 events per day to give a speech in every one of them and be listened carefully by the world audience an old fart. You don't know what an old fart is. But no worries I won't be hearing from you again.

I have been saying the exact same thing for 3 weeks rn
I still dont know how Kilicdarogou was chosen over some1 like Yavas
That guy, unlike many politicians, is clean and even if his party is shit; he himself stated many decent statements that go along with Turkey's interest
Instead CHP chose a meesed up man like kilicdaroglu should raise concern
