Aerotekhnika delivered upgraded S-125 anti-aircraft missile system to Turkey
Aerotechnics-MTL Research and Production Association supplied SAM S-125 and related products to Turkey.

Now on the territory of the foreign customer there is an acceptance of production. The amount of the agreement as well as the complete set delivered to Turkey is not named.
An agreement with Turkey on the supply of S-125-2D anti-aircraft missile systems and missiles to it was signed in early 2020.
The complex itself was delivered from Lithuania and has already been modernized in Ukraine.
According to the official website of the NGO "Aerotechnics-MTL" one complex includes:
- Radar guidance station SNR-125-2D;
- Missile group SM-RB-125-2D (as part of four launchers 5P73-2D);
- Autonomous power supply system SAES-2D;
- Set of cables of power KS-2D;
- Set of control cables KU-2D;
- Spare parts set.
Missile group SM-RB-125-2D can include up to 4 launchers 5P73-2D with four guides for anti-aircraft guided missiles (ZKR) 5V27U, 5V27GU, 5V27GPU, 5V27D and up to 8 transport-loading machines PR-14A ( AM).
The modernized anti-aircraft missile system (AMS) S-125-2D is designed to protect political and administrative centers, strategic objects of civil and military purpose, its troops from the impact of all types of air attack means of a probable enemy.
Compared to the base version, the upgraded SAM S-125-2D has increased noise immunity from various types of active and passive radio interference, as well as echoes from local objects through the use of new hardware technologies, methods of protection against interference and signal processing methods.
Due to the new method of missile guidance, it was possible to increase the area of destruction and increase the probability of hitting targets in a simple noise environment and under the influence of intense radio interference.
After the modernization of the anti-aircraft missile system, its service life has been extended to 15 years.
