SavunmaSanayiTV claimed that Alp-100g was the target lock radar for the Siper system but then why the different Camo? And as far as I can understand it uses the same architecture as Siper's own radar so what is the difference? It doesn't make much sense to me

The real question is how long will it take to produce that many systems? It seems like Siper production rate will be 2 maybe 3 per year at best even with the newly opened facilities which is not bad at all but considering how critical our situation is. A lot more investment in the production is needed

you need a sustainable production capacity there is no point if aselsan invest so much that they can produce like 5 systems a year and 4 years later do not get any more orders. a capacity of 2 or 3 would good enough also how much is missile production capacity no point in having 20 batteries if you don't have the munitions for it. There are also the regular radar systems Like alp 100/300 and the others coming in the future which will be more important

AKREP-1000G is fire control radar of Siper. Alp-100G is low altitude radar that fill the gaps of main search radar EIRS due to terrain.

Aselsan plans to ramp up production to 1 battery(3x launchers, 1x EIRS, 1x fire control radar, datalink, and command vehicles) per quarter. Aselsan will likely further increase(probably double) production capacity with the new 1.5 billion dollar investment.

Aselsan Gölbaşı facility will be the largest facility of its kind in Europe when investment is completed.

Official information or unofficial information? And that capacity would be available maybe in 2-3 years right?

Unofficial. The first capacity will be available starting from 2026. The second one is after investments are completed.

Yeah that is what I thought but Anıl Şahin claimed otherwise even going into detail about how Akrep-1000G detects the target then transfers the information to Alp-100g for locking. I guess it is my fault expecting correct info from those guys after so many fuck ups lol

AKREP literally is the designation for fire control radars

ALP 310-G detects the target, AKREP 1000-G as the MULTIFUNCTION FIRE CONTROL RADAR locks on for a constant feed on target, then SİPER goes WHIIIIIIIIIW.

ALP 100-G alongside ALP 300-G is a supporting detection asset within the Steel Dome as a very verastile radar that includes a ballistic trajectory calculation function to replicate STR 700-G to some degree. But it is mainly for low altitude targets.
