I think T Link is a new national waveform compliant with the KEMENT terminal. Current KEMENT capabilities are focused on platform-munition weapons data link, but it was often stressed that the new terminal developed by Meketsan would have its ability further expanded in the future as the SDR terminal could be integrated with other waveforms. MilSOFT is also known to be developing next-generation multi-datalink processor as well, this time probably for Turkish national waveforms. Also to my understanding KEMENT waveform itself is able to function as TDL.(T Link) This one totally flew under the radar. Although nothing is known yet, it's a huge undertaking and will become the backbone of our networked warfare concept on land, air and sea. Biggest news of IDEF 23 for me so far.
Really wish we could go for EF T4 instead of F-16V.
Shouldn't our bases be censored in those map sites?
They used to be.Shouldn't our bases be censored in those map sites?
Our hearts say that; and from tech point of view, EF2000 , especially the tranche 4 with the hybrid Aesa radar, is the far better plane.Really wish we could go for EF T4 instead of F-16V.
Get a move on Aselsan! Enough of all these delays!
From latest info seems like couple more years at least until we see it in serviceFor real, when we ask about the MURAD integration into the F-16’s, we always hear ‘’soon’’ or ‘’very soon’’ since a year at least. Enough already.
Given the contract it should be by 2025From latest info seems like couple more years at least until we see it in service
When did a contract deadline ever stop us, truly? It'll be ready when it's ready. Which is probably between 2025 and 2029. Looks like they are genuinely, actively considering buying a testbed aircraft. Maybe if they allocate the budget in the next 18 months, we will see some results 18 months after that./SARCASMGiven the contract it should be by 2025

Yes, I was alluding to Sünnetçi's statements on Kaner's last program. Not the platform I had in mind, but still about 3 times better than using an F-16 or Akıncı.getting a bombardier as a testbed aircraft for MURAD?
I mean as said in that program we have know how from HAVASOJ so it makes sense. The problem is energy output. Global 6000 has likely more than enough for Murad but it's not going to cut it for BURFIS I imagine. Also remember the program about HAVASOJ, it was said that whole HAVASOJ has about same EW power output as F18 Growler. Makes sense considering both have 2x 60 kilonewton engines. The E7 wedgetail is on 2x 120 kn thrust version of Boeing 737 for a reason.Yes, I was alluding to Sünnetçi's statements on Kaner's last program. Yup, If i know this country, we would be searching for a second, bigger testbed few years later. Also not sure about the part us knowing the ins and outs of the platform with the experience we got from HavaSoj will cut it for a testbed, where we will need to modify the nose section, possibly put in a new radom. Which will probably require us to certify it for flight worthiness because at least 2 to 6 very experienced people will be aboard, and I doubt any company in Turkey can do that. Someone Canadian or South African perhaps.I mean as said in that program we have know how from HAVASOJ so it makes sense. The problem is energy output.
