My bullshit meter goes crazy.I see some harsh statements on youtube channel of Kadir Baba. Are these statements true? He really seems knowlegable on this topic and his statements made me pretty sad before. I see this tank as a version 1 and having such bold statements is pretty much negligible on my side but at least I want to know that these statements are true or not.
Honestly, I like his Ayhan Tarakcı videos. But, apart from that, I guess he has some issues with companies. He was pretty angry when they did not invite him to Altay Demonstration.I see some harsh statements on youtube channel of Kadir Baba. Are these statements true? That's the reason why Israeli equipment look badass most of the timeI have such a soft spot for desert and winter camos.
Damn they just look the best. Desert camos cant be beaten!!
No offense but it is a fact.Kadirbaba is not even a high school graduate and he is a fan of fesli kadir. He presents himself as a tank engineer. I think this info should be enough to neglect him
So testing with BATU has already begun? :O-Some measurements Tools
-Engine
etc.
So testing with BATU has already begun? :O
Slowly but surely we get the annoying engine problems into control. Good achievement.
In the documentary, starting at 16:09:
İbrahim Korkmaz, Power Pack Lead:
"The first integration into the Altay tank of [the domestic*] power pack, which consists of an engine, transmission and cooling pack, has successfully been completed. This is of critical importance in the reduction of export restrictions."
Kadir Doğan, Defence Industry Expert:
"All these efforts have been completed**, and as of now I can confidently say that we possess a usable solution that lifts this major obstacle preventing serial production."
Murat Yalçıntaş, BMC CEO:
"This [power pack] was completely the work of Turkish engineers, and the design was conceived in these lands by our youth. In the same vein, many components had the hand of Turkish experts [technicians, fabricators], engineers, and workers. This is Turkey’s achievement."
The cooling pack is certainly BMC power in this frame:

I can't tell if the engine is BATU though:

It doesn't look much like the DV27K either:

*I'm not really sure they mean the full domestic power pack solution here. The previous quotes were about BATU, so I assumed this. They may have meant a combination of Korean Engine and Transmission + BMC Cooling Pack.
**See above
I would be careful taking most of these quotes at face value, since it's election season. For instance, the Korean contribution to Altay was massively understated.
i dont know him but he has good knowlodge about MBT, i noticed that he says Altay doesnt have good ammunitions family because of low production quality of MKE, so it is very important matter i hope companies something like roketsan would be involve this matter and produce more effective heat, sabot and anti personel ammunitions for Altay...Kadirbaba is not even a high school graduate and he is a fan of fesli kadir.
