I believe that's something in front of it.What is that thing on its barrel ?
Looks like kind of RCW station, but not sure.I believe that's something in front of it.
Serial production agreement for the South Korean powerpack will be signed soon and expected to start production next year.

Isn't that just the leopard body and altay turret from otokar?
With 30mm smart munition unmanned turret makes even more sense. I hope we could look into developing smart munition for 25mm if possible. We’ve talked about it before, but even if we can’t today, maybe we can tomorrow.View attachment 48447
30x113 RWS??!!!!!!
The tank will use smart ammunitions against drones like M-SHORAD as well as Anti-Personal/ Antimaterial
Americans know their shit, they are good at their shit.
Turkish Armed Forces should pay attention on the 30x113mm cal .

25mm smart munition may have shorter range, but as long as it’s possible there will be more options on the table.
Certainly. We need to work on this concept too. We haven't been able to mass-produce the tank for years, but at least our radar should be up on what's going on in the world.30x113 RWS??!!!!!!

This is one of the things I'm curious about. Can a semi-autonomous counter rocket, artillery, and missile capability be achieved with a medium caliber cannon on the turret that moves independently? The one I'm talking about is a kind of mini C-Ram in a way, especially for the top attacks and long range missile attacks. Sorry if that sounds silly, but there seems to be plenty of room for higher asymmetric capabilities and stronger self-defense on the Altay and similar heavy-class tanks with a battle weight of 65 tons. As a matter of fact, as seen above, the Americans managed to fit a 30x113 remote weapon system into the new Abrams package. With 30mm smart munition unmanned turret makes even more sense. Yes I am aware of that. The reason why I wanted to see a potential 25mm is because it’ll weight less and not be so bulky. I know we’ll save weight with an unmanned turret so it shouldn’t be an issue. But it doesn’t sit well with me how it sticks out like a target.why 25mm? We have our own 30x113 LR RWS. Rather see smart ammunition developed for that.
Yes two independent system or one system to manage both. Which is why I was thinking of smaller caliber smart would not stick out so much, and could potentially have a independent firecontrol/sensors.Certainly. We need to work on this concept too. The first purpose of having the 30mm auto cannon with smart ammunitions could be anti-infantery who are behind trenches, windows etc.Yes two independent system or one system to manage both. Where?? İ haven't heard. Please Caps..why 25mm? We have our own 30x113 LR RWS. Rather see smart ammunition developed for that.
