Altay T3 should be designed from the scratch as a 3-man tank with a hybrid powerpack. There should be a hard weight limit of 50 tonnes. It should have an unmanned turret and autoloader.

Akkor was shown in T2's schematics as 'field test completed and delivered components'
The list for T3 is 'differences and extras' Akkor is a default there.

Dual RCWS indicates one of the RCWS will likely be Sahin 40mm or 30mm LR with a dual purpose (drone protection loitering munition capture etc).

And will be equipped with EW jammers as well to jam mini drones.

We are a generation whom has been waiting Altay for a decade, guess Altay T3 sounds more like a dream at the moment. But who knows who will design it.

Also this is what SSB envisages or 'lets through' God knows what Army is demanding.

We do not have a produced Altay tank yet but by 2024 we will have an industry that will be able to make any tank in any configuration. Imagine the BATU engine paired with an electric motor they can power tanks much heavier than Altay. Or maybe some unmanned sea vehicles that can swim and dive.

If AKKOR is in Altay as of the T2 variant, then it would be appropriate to say. The variant that should go into mass production is not the T1, not the T2, but the T3. Because it only meets current needs. No need to waste resources and time with T1 and T2. We need the T3 now, not in the future.

I have a feeling of gloom about Altay MBT.

At least they should redesign T2 in a way to be modified with 2nd RCWS and UAV when the time comes, similar to Atak where EDH became Phase I and then II. And T3 may have all the listed features with a future vision.

The Altay tank project needs to be killed, no need to make it a matter of pride, Things that happen in every country. A newer and more modern project should be made from scratch.

In addition, BMC should be prohibited from entering public tenders.

So what do you want ? Altay is a modern and capable MBT you want to throw the project out of the window because of delayed mass production?
