Turkishfacts4u says a lot of bs but sometimes he gets it right with his news.

Still treat his sources as suspicion

I hope its true. Cant wait to see the Altay at work in Syria.

The serial production of a domestic main battle tank will uplift the whole national economy of a country because it uses a wide range of materials and components coming from different producers, let alone the technician workforce.

Sell all your German and American tanks to Ukraine for money or tech-knowhow and replace them with Altays.

Produce 10.000 Altay's and create a massive tank army. Place Altays in every city, at every coast and every border.

According to the normal schedule, in the coming months (maybe days, I don't know but first half of 2023) the first two prototypes of the reconfigured type will be delivered to the force command. However, unlike the previous project model, these two tanks are actually the first two tanks of the first 100-tank package. In other words, the delivery of these two tanks can be seen/shown (by some) as the start date of serial production. After the additional tests of the new configuration are approved by the force, the remaining 98 tanks will be delivered quickly. The new tank is quite a different variant from the prototype 8 years ago.

The issue that has given us all cancer in our defense forums for more than 20 years, starting with Tank 2000, is finally at the exit of the tunnel. Whether this week or this month, next month or not, we are indeed nearing the end of the process. Moreover, on the road we set out on with the goal of under-licence production, after overcoming economic crises, embargoes, political foot-dragging and many other difficulties, we have now acquired indigenous technology up to the power pack.

What about Altay?
I really have a hard time believing they will have a ceromony with the president attending just for 6 Fırtınas.
I don't know maybe BMC might show the first prototype with the Korean powerpack.

Top 5 Main Battle Tank Units:
1. Russia 21.710
2. China 9.000
3. USA 8.625
4. India 5.978
5. Egypt 4.145
Believe me, these figures mean nothing.

In an inventory within hands of highly trained personal and technical infrastructure, and all designed in accordance with its own doctrines and troop structure that created by all these own unique requirements: One MBT equipped with the awareness and countermeasure systems required by modern warfare conditions can even keep 1/3 arithmetic in its favor.

We now have the capability for technology and industrial production in all subsystems of the MBT. Moreover, our design, test and verification capabilities in these areas are now at the highest level. There is no country in our neighbors that can compete with us in all of these capability sets. I think this is the most important issue. The Altay T3 configuration and beyond are now among our capabilities, and this shows that we are closing the distance to where the world is. You cannot stand against this power with piles of scrap from the warehouses that the US or Russia emptied after the Cold War.
