It depends, the world ain't selling Afghanistan the latest F-16V and Patriot missile defense system if the Taliban don't assimilate its political system with that of the West (or any weapons exporters in this regard).

But then opening too much and assimilating too much means fracture for Taliban's own internal orgs. I don't think Jihadis spent their life overthrowing a Western styled democratic government only to have their govts using the same exact models of governance.

ISIS-K started out that way when many Taliban and TTP cadres are displeased with the T'ban leadership choosing dialogue and many saw it as a betrayal to their cause.

So its very hard for balancing game for the T'ban here.

What do you mean by assimilating their political system with that of the west ? Secularism, democracy ?

Oh NO just let their Disgusting system for themselves, Muslims have divine law that is above negotiation? But of course those Infidels will put any pressure they can any sanction they can to make the state fail and at the END they will tell their slaves that the gov failed because of Islam 😏 however Alpha thanks for the info I think there are plenty of ways to get arms and they don't need any F16 nor F35 they only need defensive arms that will make any invader get slapped and thwart it
yea something like that.
