I'm beginning to think our army will get their 1st batch production Altay's before gendarme get their GökbeyTS1400 is all good and well, but better news would be delivering the first T625s on August 1..
Who we value more, tankers with their M48s or pilots with their Hueys...I'm beginning to think our army will get their 1st batch production Altay's before gendarme get their Gökbey
No helicopter will be delivered before the EASA certificate is officially awarded which is likely to happen in August but it is not certain.TS1400 is all good and well, but better news would be delivering the first T625s on August 1..
Unless those choppers will also be used in civilian tasks(FYI they will be)Certificates are good things, but Turkey doesn't need an EASA certificate to deliver a Turkish helicopter to a Turkish government agency.
No ,TS-1400 tests are not finished yet,on the gökbey heli.Does this one have TS-1400 or nah?
Military certification would not be so long.First delivery Gokbey will be Gendarmery 30 August, total 26 will be deliverd to instutions and after that second contract talks with SSB.
They are talking 2027+ years later first TS1400 will be certified
