You overrate the importance of this 'experience gained on successful delivery to TSK'. The MMU is a unique and the highest value project in the Turkish defense industry, while the helicopter projects are of lower value (does not mean unimportant) especially when the T-70 is currently being delivered up until 2030. By that time, production of T625 is well under way and production of the 10 ton utility helicopter is going to start.
It is true that the production experience gained by the Atak T-129 has opened avenues for both Tai and Tei in the form of T-629, T-929 helicopter developments for the former and the production of TS-1400 engine for the latter. This has given our companies more self confidence in the manufacturing process of TFX.
These projects are all interconnected and affect each other in one way or another.
But as helicopters are becoming easy preys for AD systems more and more, their importance in the battlefield may seem to be less; a bit like tanks. But we all know that both tanks and helicopters are indispensable platforms of the battlefields. They will have to be protected and carried on being used.
As you rightfully pointed out the helicopters we make are going to be produced in accordance with the program and timescale set by the TSK. Only new thing will be more and more indigenously produced parts will be added to the production process.
But TFX is the biggest and most important project this country has undertaken. It is a make or break project. It has to succeed. 200+ planes plus with development costs, it is over 30 billion dollars worth.
