AZ needs heavy UAVs like Akinci or Aksungur - to areal bomb strategic points in that region - with a heavy drone it would be possible to take out whole "smaller" bases and commando-posts no just single tanks e.g.

Also the 12x MAM-L would mean that entire convoys can be wiped out with A single drone. That's scary.

Azerbaijan should receive the new drones ASAP.

If they can just get TRLG-230 into service, it would be massive game changer.

If taking heights through land assault is limited? Why not choose aerial assault?

Armenia is basically the "Israel" of the Turkic world. An artificial thorn placed there by the big powers of the early 1900s in order to constantly stir trouble and keep Turkey separated from its Turkic brothers. They will have to be dealt with in due time.

Armenians have about 300 of the latest Russian manpads
same logic as assaulting directly from below, I've seen videos of Azeri soldiers getting hit by latest Russian ATGMs. I'm sure there are more ATGMs than Manpads.

Also Manpads threat could be minimized by loitering and surveilling the area before troops getting dropped

Manpads, atgms, ground fire, and it is hard to conduct such operations both in aerial and infantry capability level.

Not all pilots are capable of doing this, include the fire support -CAS and these assets will be needed later at more strategic locations or maybe being used.

Well, Aliyev just confirmed that their Army is being remodeled after Turkish/NATO standarts, thats very good news, we will see more western tech in Azeri Army in the future for sure.
Seems like the rumors about Turkish advisors and intelligence in Azeri military is true.

Anyways, congrats to our brothers, may you be victorious in your rightful struggle, the future is bright for you. :)
Such initiative would be successful if soviet mentality within the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and other institutions is destroyed from it's roots which is very hard when it comes to ex soviet and satellite states. It will take years before real effects are there. Changing of doctrine, tactics, SOPs is a very hard job. Officers with tens of years of experience will have to throw away everything they learned and change to NATO standard Turkish system. Of course there are Azerbaijani officers and personnel which received training in Turkey but it is on a different level. The real training which should be given emphasis is "Kurmaylik" (Operational Control) training. That will really matter.

Looks like Aliyev took some lessons when it comes to Russian influence in Azerbaijan. First the foreign minister then the Commander of General Staff. I hope he is showing his true face when doing these moves. Azerbaijan really have very big potential to be a major player in the region and I hope all that potential will start to be used appropriately.

Even Pantsirs can't seem to shoot down TB-2s. I doubt the Armenians can down them with manpads. Flight ceiling of the Igla-S is only 11,000 feet under best circumstances.

the AZ army isn't war proven like the TSK - we are dealing with that kind of warfare for almost 40 yrs - it could terribly go wrong for the AZ...
cause like AZ received TSK advisors - the ARM army gets trained by PKK - cause (I will repeat that till I die, same in PDF) PKK = ASALA

not only that, helicopters could use terrain hugging maneuver to avoid lock on

These guys have nothing else but to shout genocide because they cannot take the beating.

But sadly it seems they have bent the narrative and the west is eating it up, you cant turn one corner on reddit or twitter without seeing these people accusing genocide and playing victim even though they are agressors.
This is the reply I got from someone:
''
How are they occupying Azeri land? If the people there are Armenian, what the fuck business do the azeri’s have attacking and starting a war there, cluster bombing civilian areas like the true good guy in this scenario? It’s like the Falklands scenario, we don’t give a shit if a country wants more land, if the people who live there don’t want to be a part of your country, it’s not your land. Now many will die, because Azerbaijan wants to flex and take.
''

They think its armeinan land and they defend against attack.
It seems like they are winning the propaganda wars.
We need more English material to counter this misinformation
There is no twisted narative and neither in the West is unimformed.

The Armenians have thousands of years of recorded history in those lands before any Turkic presence and that's why the Western public opinion, which is generally educated, sympathises with them. Calling Armenia an artificial state is a gross lie and ignorance
