It most definetly has a religious angle but it's not a dominant factor. This is true. However, with Turkey and Pakistan - two major Sunni nations with Shia-related religious minorities of significant size - supporting a Shia country like Azerbaycan this conflict turns into another textbook example of how allies - regardless of faith or ethnicity - are sometimes more important than your own fellow men in religion (Iran). Btw, where's the support of our beloved Hizbies? They ought to fight at the forefront for their fellow Shias...lol
