It's imperative to gain defensible positions while Azerbaijan is moving forward. Hard and fast. We can expect a lot support to Armenia, so while we have them on the run need to hit supply lines and control roads.

Armenia isn't going to step in, not after Lavrov said karabagh was azeri lands...

So they'll ruin their economy trying to send support and what not to the armenian seperatists.

If Armenia steps in, we'll have to use this chance to cut off their connection to Iran. While repelling them/retaking karabagh.

Hard and fast.

Cutting it like that won't be feasible for long. Seems like Azerbaijan is poking and looking for weaknesses.

Cutting off those roads and establishing control over those areas will make an excursion easier.

With UAV around spotting and relaying incoming enemy will be easier.

If the roads are located in mountanous areas perhaps it’s possible to turn those passages into killing field.

But it’s necessary to commit more soldiers to control and expand the cleanup.

But does this apply to Nagorno-Karabakh?

The technicality of it might be irrelevant. Russians will definitely push both sides towards a ceasefire due to CSTO and to show the world who is the boss in the region. To be honest, If Ruskies do not back Armenia their ability to protect those under CSTO will come under question. Hoping saner minds prevail before this escalates into a bigger regional conflict.

Here is the thing though ; If Russia chooses Armenia over Azerbaijan or vice versa woundt that compromise CSTO even more ? Given that both of them are members of CSTO.

Israel seems to be sending some stuff for Azerbaijan. Interesting thing is how they are using Turkish airspace.

Interesting cooperation here.

I know that Israel and Azerbaijan have good ties, but this is just strange. If true then it means that Israel is well aware of Iranian-Armenian cooperation. Perhaps Mossad knows something that we don't about the situation.
