Serbia claims that Bayraktars and OMTAS were not bought by Kosovo but in fact were a donation from Turkey.

"On the other hand, based on everything we know, taking into account the budget allocated for the so-called Kosovo security forces, they have no money for such a thing and there can be no question of commercial arrangements and it is quite certain that it is Turkish donations."

Turkiye urgently needs a large military airbase and naval facility in Albania. This would help Turkiye keep the Balkans and Greece under control.

Serbia can go be with Russia and China.

If its a donation. I say good news because Kosovo is still a young country that cant afford a military yet as it is getting on its feet.

Turkey signed some donation agreements with both Kosovo and Bosnia few years back this is probably the result of it.Not sure but i think it was around 30 million euros worth of equipment for each.
When it comes to Bosnia the donations are yet to arrive but its 100% sure that most of it will be Kirpi.
Don't know about the rest but Bosnian delegation did visit Baykar plant.

According to news reports Bosnian side was very curious about the progress of Karaok ATGM development in talks with the SSB but considering it's not even in Turkish service yet(if it's even in production) I doubt we will get that.

These aid packages are really too modest. I get the feeling that we are still not taking the risk factors in the Balkans seriously enough. I think it is very important for the stability and to deter any dangerous initiatives of the region that Bosnia develops a fleet over advanced UAVs and, more broadly, develops its intelligence capacity.

After the Bosnian war the Bosniaks should have expelled the Serbs.

Maybe racist to suggest such a thing but now how naive to believe that the Serbs in Bosnia are loyal to Bosnia.

Let's hope we will not say the same about the millions of "refugees"

There are a lot of things that need to be procured but Serb politicians block every single attempt of arming or modernizing the armed forces. They suggest disbanding of the Army or having armed forces with no weapons at all.Which is why we are basically dependent on foreign donations.

For example, since 2017 the armed forces have planned to buy 72 machine guns in 7.62 NATO cal.but they can't get funds for it till this day.
If they are so stubbornly blocking that, can you only imagine what would happen if we try to buy something like TRG 230 or Kasirga?
The most critical areas are anti armor and air defense.Let's hope Turkey includes at least few OMTAS launchers in that package like they did with Kosovo donation.

As far as your suggestion about development of UAV's while a great idea, which I totally agree with,it's unrealistic.
With our Bosniak politicians we couldn't even get serial production of a locally made AK's and AR 15 started, even though several private companies were ready for it.They never went past the prototypes.
Our leadership is just not interested in developing local arms production at all.

Why do you keep these Serb traitors?

Which genius is the one who suggested that Bosnia should have 3 presidents?

Serbs want disband the army so they can easily partition the country and join Serbia.

It wasn't up to them. You should go watch Death of Yugoslavia and read the Dayton Accords.

No decision on a state level can be made without all 3 members of presidency agreeing on it.Courtesy of Dayton peace accords.

Bill Clinton and Richard Holbrooke. They didn't suggest. They threatened, blackmailed and ordered it to be implemented,in order to end the war before Clinton's second run for president.

Of course. That is why the more armed Bosnia and Kosovo are the higher are the chances of lasting peace in the Balkans,

One thing you can be sure of is that Türkiye wont allow any dumb moves against Bosnia or Kosovo.
This is known by all sides.

The Bosnia war was the culmination point of Serbian assimilation that was going up to genocide attempt at the end, it was only the final and bloody phase of a systematic, step-by-step effort at de-identification. Aside from the internal political constraints of Bosnia's federative state order, there is a huge barrier in the geopolitics of the Bosnian nation on a Balkan scale, the result of nearly 200 years of regression. We are also historically responsible for the Bosnians being in this position. This map is enough to explain the difficulty of the situation.

Balkan demography and the isolation of Bosnians is actually quite similar to the situation in the South Caucasus (Preventing Turks from becoming physical neighbors), but the situation in the Balkans is comparatively more difficult. Because Bosnians are physically isolated even at the federative level.

Serbia is buying 20 000 Iranian drones.

That sounds like a pretty unrealistic number? And if true, it will take a few years for these to be produced and delivered, in the meantime, we need to figure out the weaknesses of these drones and make them obsolete or at least minimise their effectiveness.

It is unrealistic, yeah I think it may be a typo,2000 maybe.Iran has already stated one year ago Serbia was very interested in it's drones and tech transfer.Meanwhile not a peep from US or EU.
