According to some Temel Kotil played a role in the departure of İsmail Demir.
Erdogan several times mentioned that Turkey will make 100% army technology in 2023, and they couldnt finish it as they planned, only Haluk Gorgin finished all the important projects. Engine is still not ready, even though many important steps have been passed. I feel like its the right decision as its normal that after some years being at the same job not being as exited as before, they needed new blood and focus on export. Also, they didnt give attention to chips making

It is ridiculous to say that Haluk achieved everything. For one, his AESA rader is delayed. Probably the most important thing they are working on

Delayed by how long? Couple month? you ask him to make Gan Aesa without ever making an aesa, plus ask him also make gan chips just because you realize nobody will sell it to you.
he make eots, irst, akkor, air defence and so on and all of them are almost ready. Dont get me wring, Ismail Demir did amazing job, but Turkey needs new energy and Gorgun proved himself so time to ink new energy.

İsmail Demir is demoted there is no other way to explain it. It seems like he stepped on something he shouldn't have stepped.

remember when Mr Kotil was saying that Kaan will make first flight in late 2023, and Mr Demir said 2024, don't wanna rush for safety blah blah ...
seems like there was something wrong, and they both kept their claims . was something fishy there ..

Greek news sites imply that Turkey is producing ballistic missiles with a range of 1000 km for Ukraine.
Greek news?
Lie news?
I read the news at the given link.
Horrible Turkish translation btw. It does not imply that Turkey manufactures missiles for Ukraine. In fact, it’s the other way around!

What I gathered is that various Greek news sources claim that Ukrainian engineers flock to Turkey and to aid of Erdoğan and they developed or helped develop the 1000km range Turkish Typhoon ballistic missile!

To support this they give Ukranian engines provided for Atak2 as an example and various defense cooperation between two countries.
They also point out how the Ukrainian Minister of Defense “blurted” that they were hopeful of “manufacturing” their own 1000km ballistic missile program.
So, a fantasy was serviced as a result of (nonexistent) symbiotic form of coexistence between two and accordingly it was “established “ that the Ukrainians provide the brain and Turks finance it!

Naturally, the main point of the “news“ is that it presents both countries’ cooperation as a direct threat to Greece in the Aegean region. And of course as usual, it’s implied that the Turkish defense projects are only done with some sort of outside “invisible“ help because, let’s face it, is there any other way 😏

They have been singing the same song for a while now. The inferiority complex caused by having lost to us throughout history is real and they try to cover it by imagining themselves being outnumbered but otherwise culturally and mentally superior to us despite all evidence to the contrary. So now they are having trouble emotionally coping with the technological advances in the Turkish defense industry. Any achievement must be because somebody sold us critical know-how even though those countries in reality do not sell even a screw to the Turkish companies. Even then anything Turkey produces must be of inferior quality to western products which they buy with loan money. Turkish engineers producing quality products on their own is inconceivable for them.

It's preferable to have an enemy that is so irrational and detached from reality. At the moment they are overconfident as usual, especially in their airforce. They still haven't grasped the disaster they will have on their hands when Kizilelma, Anka-3, and Siper are taken into inventory. I sometimes feel tempted to open an account to comment in their news sites and say things like "This is just a wooden mock-up for Erdogan's election." If they were even a slight bit rational they would have been much harder opponents.

They are insignificant specks that aren't even worthy of taking seriously or considering a threat by themselves. The only importance they have on the global stage is opposing us and the only threat they pose is as a puppets and cannon fodders of stronger European nations, just as they were after WWI.

A direct contract between the Kuwaiti government and the Turkish government, without intermediaries, to purchase the drone system. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense concluded its contract with the Turkish side to supply the Turkish “Bayraktar TB2” unmanned aircraft system, at a value of (367) million dollars, through direct negotiation between the government of the State of Kuwait and the government of the friendly Republic of Turkey without the entry of any intermediaries.

I did not know where to write this, but I have a strong expectation that defense relations with Hungary will gain momentum.

Idaho Senator James Risch, the senior Republican on the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said he would halt $735 million in US arms sales to Hungary, including HIMARS rocket launcher batteries, as punishment for Budapest's objection to Sweden's NATO membership. In response to the senator, the Hungarian Defense Ministry issued a statement saying that it did not want to buy HIMARS systems anyway. The Roketsan MLRS system (TRLG-122, TRG-230, TRLG-230, TRG-300 and BORA) could be a great flexible option for Hungary's artillery systems needs. They have the same capabilities as HIMARS and are the perfect complement to TB-2, for current and future operator armies.
