Highly possible that Morocco is one of the 4 countries mentioned in the negotiation of T129 ATAK for the light attack tender. I would assume it's competing against the Ah-1z Viper.

@Cabatli_TR feel free to add a comment if you have knowledge regarding the matter or find it feasible.

I thought the deal was scrapped. 🤔

I guess you refering to the requirements? No official information regarding your question however it should have all the modern features you can think off including long range missiles with a range exceeding 8+km. The light attack helicopter will accompany the apaches, and replace the old gazelle.

so you guys have 24 active gazelles right, seems unlikely the US allows engine delivery for such big contract. let's hope this will go through . probably 1+ billion dollar at stake here. uncle sam seems to not give a fuck when TAI sells 3-6 here an there, but this time, they will force AH-1Z

The interest of the ATAK has been there since 2017-2018. If the interest is still there then it means that Morocco have got guarantees.

@Anmdt what are you implying?
@Isa Khan is talking about BD navy.

And i don't see any bloody VLS, or do I need to check my eyes?
The quoted post within the quoted post refers to Malaysian LMS tender, which STM submitted an Ada Class based design, showcased in LIMA but wasn't captured by anyone.

As required by tender;
8 VLS - VL MICA ( Project requires 8, there could 8 in picture but seemed as 16 due to the imagery alias)
30 mm
2 x 2 Exocet SSM
76 mm
Sensor suite by Thales (3D radar, STIR - EO)

Another feature, now Ada-Class is presented in CODAD or CODELAD, similar to ADKG of ASFAT. This is a key feature for enabling exports.

Isn't 4 SSM is too little?

Fully French loadout maybe except for the 76mm. Seems they are the winners no matter who comes up on top for LMS Batch 2.
