The PMT-76-57A Platform Machine Gun developed by MKE was exported to Kosovo. The Kosovo Army took the PMT-76-57A into its inventory.

In other words, all of the private shipyards (moreover the subcontractors who do most of the design work) has gained the knowledge during milgem programme (which is still ongoing). Any development occuring nowadays owe it to past 20 years.

I am not sure if it will be an upgrade. The ships is old and has been inoperational for last few years. Given the time and availability of documents (How nicely Nigerian Navy archiving) this will be morelikely a life extension refit. At this stage it makes more sense to buy a new ship than upgrading all those analogue systems and cabling altogether.
Sorry, that's not what I meant. I wished that the new ships they were planning to buy from us had our sensor suites

In the case of Kosovo, I wouldn't be so sure if all of these products were indeed paid exports or donations.

Only Turkish companies remain in the final in the 4x4 tender of Estonia.

In the 4x4 armored vehicle tender opened by the Estonian Army, Otokar Cobra, BMC Amazon, Nurol Yörük and Ejder Yalçın made it to the finals.

Honestly I dont know what to say but this is good news. Even if you have Turkish companies competing each other but they beaten other countries.

When it comes to Mraps the Turks are at the top.

It makes sense due to their war against terrorists and the weapons they use meant they needed to build top of the notch mraps.

Defence industry press attention and company PR is same old, not surprised me;

You previously mentioned, the budget isn't sufficient enough and contractor have to take losses?

  • TAI will export 3 ANKA systems to Malaysia for approximately 100 million dollars. While the contract is called Phase-1, Malaysia's ANKA procurement will continue as Phase-2, Phase-3.

  • Vardan said, "The UAVs and ANKAs we will supply to Malaysia will be equipped with special radars. Therefore, the delivery time is getting longer. We will be making and delivering equipment specifically for their own requests, which we call tailor-made."

  • "Our relations will not stop only with ANKAs. We know that they are also interested in HÜRJET. The fact that HÜRJET has made its first flight and will enter the inventory within two years has opened the door for us. In addition to our desire to diversify and increase the number of ANKAs, we also have a desire to present HÜRJETs. The King himself said this during his visit. He is also interested in our KAAN. He is a pilot himself. They are organising a place for us here for our GÖKBEY. They want to assemble and build GÖKBEY here. We are working on these. Actually, we don't want to be only a seller. In other words, when we look at it as a company strategy, we endeavour to work out how we can do this hand in hand, arm in arm, and how we can develop the win-win principle."

A correction as most people seem to misunderstand the export contract.

3 Anka systems were exported in Phase I. Each Anka system consists of 3 Anka UCAVs. Hence 9 Anka UCAVs were exported to Malaysia in Phase I

If 3x system consisting 9 Anka drone cost $100 millions doesn't it looks like Anka is relatively cheaper compared to current TB-2's package price? (considering the range of capabilities that Anka offer compared to TB-2)

I wonder if the "maritime radar" and related avionics in question is Turkish or Turkish supplied, meaning added in that 100m figure.

We don’t know the exact contract terms. Maybe the contract is only for the UCAV with training/munition/customised hardware being part of a separate contract.

I noticed some sources on twitter speculating that the 100 mUSD was per system.

In any case, Turkiye’s defence industry is doing what it does well. Leaving everyone confused about the matter 😂
