Baykar, Turkiye’s largest defence company by exports, exported 1.4bn USD in 2022.

From their increased production capacity and export rate, we can deduce that they will export for 4-5bn USD in 2023!

to put this in perspective, Turkiye’s total defence export was roughly 4.2bn USD in 2022. Crazy!

Have KTJ 3200 been test fired on SOM or ATMACA yet?

According to this video as of December 2022 they had serial production of KTJ3200 going on. Already 10 KTJ3200 engines were ready for delivery to Roketsan. They were planning to produce well over a hundred engines in a year.

Considering TSK has some 410+ SOM missiles on order and a good deal of Atmaca are needed for the navy and ground/coastal defence/attack batteries, even a 100 + engines a year is not enough production capacity.

That aside, we still have not heard from SSB or Roketsan if this engine is being used on current SOM and Atmaca missiles. We know that the engine past all qualification tests last year. But no news of it flying a SOM or Atmaca has leaked yet.
The smaller KTJ1750 however has already been tested on CAKIR missile.

Don't say that, the cost of the Fırtına will become even cheaper as mass production increases. It will be easier to produce more. We will fund the defense industry with the money we receive. 🤑
In that sense, yeah. But do we have enough powerpacks? Continuous supply of them etc etc
