Laws need to be put into place to prohibit the sale of strategic hardware.

No defense equipment is sold without government approval anyway. If you want to be a player in this market then you need to sell, you can of course sell dumbed down export versions or the already outdated ones if you already have the next generation ready.

In addition to the concern about selling such systems, mention should be made of the human factor.

I am quoting what an electronic warfare expert from Russia said about KORAL during the Olive Branch Operation (ZDH):

"KORAL is very scary. What gives us hope is that the system's library has not yet been axisized so extensively and that the system operator does not yet have deep experience. "

Unfortunately, this quote is no longer justified because the Turkish Army has always used this system wherever Turkish soldiers have their feet. That is why KORAL has very detailed libraries and experienced operators.

For this reason the sale of subordinate systems should be harmless.
What counts is his library and his operator's experience. Above all, the operator's experience.

I hope I don't need to mention here how well the electronic warfare elements in Russian Army are structured and sophisticated.

Indeed electronic warfare (EW) is very capitalized in the Russian Army and shows this with their systems, whose names we all know.

The first electronic warfare methods were used in 1904 by the Russians against the Japanese.

At NATO, EW was recently a forgotten discipline.

I'm not against selling the Koral system with precautions. Export software and removal of Turkish threat libraries will do the job. Koral-II is right around the corner. Koral is of course offers a strategic capability no other nation has around us with the exception of Russia(Koral is a full generation better than the systems like Krasukha) and Israel.

Look at Russia. They sell their (light?) S-400, because they finished S-500 and working on S-600.

TUSAŞ prepares for new satellite exports

TUSAŞ Space Systems Deputy General Manager Dr. Selman Nas answered questions from an AA correspondent about the work carried out at the Space Systems Integration and Test Center and the company's activities in this area.

The company has operated for 16 years, voicing space within Section Nas, was shown very great improvements in this time if already Turksat 6A satellite prior to the flight model, engineering model integration, assembly, test activities is being carried out, he said.

Stating that the communication satellite project produced for TurkSat AŞ is continuing successfully, Nas also stated that they are conducting communication satellite work for the International Sunday, which will soon turn into a brand, working entirely with an electric propulsion system. Nas said:

"We are developing through GSATCOM Space Technologies Inc., which we have established in partnership with INVAP, based in Argentina. We had a client. We're going to build a communications satellite based on the satellite we developed for the ARSAT operator in Argentina. A communications satellite capable of high data transfer. In the international field, our GSATCOM company made an export. We see this as a very important, successful event from our point of view in the space field. We have entered into tenders in other countries. We recently established gsatcom, just over 2 years ago. We entered into a communications satellite tender in Kazakhstan, we brought it very well until the last moment. We are pursuing other opportunities in the international arena. Other countries also need communication satellites. We're looking for opportunities to make offers there. We will soon begin negotiations on a similar communications satellite. After the second satellite, there will be a sequel."

Ready for duty in the country

Nas, which stated that they plan to make the satellite very quickly, said that because its mass is low, two satellites can be sent with the same launcher. Nas stressed that compared to traditional large satellites, they can produce satellites with high capacity for more than 15 years, much more cost-effective because the launch and production costs are low.

Nas, which stated that they are also conducting negotiations for such satellites domestically, said that they have gained all the capabilities to make communication satellites with domestic facilities. Nas made the following assessments:

"Our army needs a communications satellite. It is possible that we can give it with this kind of solution. Our operator in Turkey needs to upgrade some of its satellites before 2030, after 2025. We've also had discussions about them. There are opportunities. Considering that our competence is formed in both chemical and electric propulsion systems and that we have the capacity to produce cost-effective solutions and fast, we are at a point where we can meet the needs of the country. It's obvious on observation satellites."

Selman Nas noted that they cooperate as high as possible with companies and institutions in the country in satellite projects.

Aselsan can not export Koral without approval of Turkish Armed Forces and SSB(both of them are required at once). They can, however, develop a new EW system based on the their experience of Koral for the exports but probably they won't be able to use the same architecture of transmitters, or even the same size ans capacity of the transmitters. The libraries and algorithms and all belongs to Turkish Armed Forces.

But we also have the Deus Ex Machina, his one word can make Turkey export EW libraries and algorithms at once, without even being questioned or objected.

If koral has started to be exported, it means we have a better system than it. be relax
also to remind, US had removed all libraries from the OHPs in 90s, in fact those libraries were vast but considered as 'outdated' by USN officials. Yet they still didn't deliver the outdated threat libraries to Turkey.

It could be better if you look at how an EW system mainly works. And what could happen if your enemy has slightest idea about extends of your platform
Even if Koral 2 is avaliable, it will take another years to experience and master it. And koral will not be retired or decommissioned just because Koral 2 is purchases,it will remain in use by some updates.

Also note Turkey didn't export Koral to Azerbaijan when they needed it most, even if it was there it was operated by Turkish personnel and it was a system from inventory of TAF and it has returned back. So who is the Oman that we export a system that we didn't export to Azerbaijan that we refer as the brother by blood?

Even if it is exported, it will not be the Koral in TAF inventory, but entirely something else that leaked information and knowledge won't affect TAF. Even the antenna architecture may change to prevent certain things from leaking.

He also announced that he intends to buy 12 atak helicopters and there is an offer for 6 turkish jammers
Original source: (starts from 11:19 where he says he went to idef for military deals with turkey)
Sorry but this guy seems to have next to no clue!

Although he praises Turkish defence industry and talks about how effective were the TB2s in N. Syria, Libya and Azerbaijan,
He says it carries "Hellfire" missiles (possible), and it can fly for 14 hours (officially 24, even more)
He says the Atak are originally Apache helicopters :ROFLMAO:

Worth mentioning that he says the Mi-28 and Mi-35 choppers they've acquired don't have night vision systems! They had to accompany them with Bell helicopters in order to locate targets at night, using the latter's E/O system.

Selling drones to Iraq is ridiculous. It means you are giving your tech to Iran.
Also these drones could be used for feeding pkk. They can provide them our soldiers' coordinates. And you may never know that they do that
I don't even want to talk about selling electronic warfare systems..
