What does it say? :O

The Turkish defense and vehicle manufacturer, Katmarciler, has signed an export contract for several armored military vehicles worth $6,320,000 with an African country.

The deal was announced by the company today on Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), and according to what the company announced, the vehicles will be fully delivered by the end of 2022.

Katmerciler was established in 1985 and its products portfolio ranges from the design and production of defense industry vehicles to firefighting vehicles, environmental vehicles, transport vehicles, construction vehicles and other special products.

RTE is whining that because US won’t give export permit we can’t export Atak.

imo this screams that we’re not capable of making TS engine for Atak.
But they allowed Philippines, we will see what will happen for Morocco (If it is ordered) I think Pakistan itself is the bigger part of the problem not Turkey. If I were USA and If I know it would end in Chinese's hands, I would not give the permit as well. China is doing everything to learn Western engine technology, even though they achieved some advancement it is still major weakness of Chinese products. And They reverse engineer everything they could. They learned a lot from Pakistan's F16s and the US would not let same to happen again I guess. (just my opinion)

I think it's about India. The US wants to appease them. It's a bigger market after all.

Do you think it is that difficult to produce a militarised TS1400?
Prof Aksit has said it many times that if they are asked to do it, they could easily redesign the engine so that it becomes militarised.
So why are they not doing it?
Can it be something to do with the Italian license partnership in Atak T-129, whereby it is capitulated that the engine powering it, has to be LHTECH T800?
