Aselsan rebrands its VATOZ mission control system family, by upgrading it with combat management system features making it available to be used as network-enabled brand new combat management system capable of integrating different data links at a single system. The new system is called; Centennial-VTZ

VATOZ mission management system, combined to aselsan's weapon management system was already in use with Turkish New-Type Patrol Boats. The VATOZ has reached level of a CMS by ongoing integration process for Turkmenistan Coast Guard's Serhet-Class patrol boats. With the SCPB, VATOZ was able to integrate all data-link, sensor feeds and weapon-ship management systems at a single system.

Havelsan Genesys-Advent, Aselsan Centennial-VTZ now we are waiting for STM to develop another CMS. After STM BMC will probably develop another one. The Turkish defense industry is booming indeed we have enough resources to develop multiple CMS.

surely they would be interoperable?
wouldn't want to lose a battle simply because the navy runs "android" and therefore cant accept transmissions from the air force's "ios" , if you catch my drift.

The first export contract for MAM-T, the newest and heaviest member of the Mini Intelligent Ammunition (MAM) family developed by Roketsan, was signed.
Same costumer for Akinci most likely. Gonna guess it is Qatar. No clue who the second one for Akinci could be though.

EDIT:
Now that I think about it. Anka users could be a possible costumer too for MAM-T. Anka can easily carry two of it

Does our CMS have NATO interoperability? Like heartbang said it’s important to be able to integrate these systems otherwise it’ll be like start from scratch every time. I’m thinking from an export pov as well, e.g. PH seems to be stuck with US line16 cms but they also buy SK vessels and thus want them to be integrated and such.

Both ADVENT and VTZ are capable of handling different data-links or merging different TDL at a single system.
That makes them interoperable.

FNSS taking part in DSA 2022. Malaysia has an ongoing tender for the procurement of 6x6 APC, in which FNSS is contending.

There is a high probability we might see FNSS win this one due to its advantages of having already supplied Malaysia with Pars 8x8, Pars 6x6 would be the most logical choice. It is objectively also just the best product out of all the contenders.

Good chance FNSS signs another huge export contract (400 Vehicles) at DSA.

How's this going to work when most of NATO have applied veiled embargo against Turkey ?

NATO leaders agree to bolster land, sea and air defences

They claim it's a Turkish system that has been purchased but there's no evidence.
We can export Koral to very close and brotherly countries like Azerbaijan and Pakistan as Koral-NG is right around the corner. After 2024 we can export to countries we see as an ally. So today we can sign contracts with a delivery date of 2024.

Given the description of the system, it more sounds like Chinese to me.

In an earlier attempt, the delivery of the EA systems was refused. The permission was limited with ESM systems only.

I don't think Koral, a relatively younger system compared to the aforementioned EA system with an existing up to date replacement at the time of the request, is going to be exported anytime soon.

Although what matters is the library and some special modifications on the hardware level.

We agreed to release AREAS-2 electronic attack systems to Pakistani use years ago with the Pakistan Milgem project. Koral and AREAS-2 have a wide range of similarities.

Koral should be released with precautions as Koral-NG is on the way.

It is not that easy. Chinese has nothing to learn from us when it comes to hardware. China produces similar EW systems. Things like software, signal processing algorithms, filters, and signal libraries make the real difference. And those can be changed to protect important secrets.
