Tip of the iceberg,
Wait for more.

I think KSA is next since they want to build new naval force in the Arabian sea .

For those who didn't know , on 2017 KSA and Turkey were finalizing a massive naval deal and some said its the biggest export deal in Turkish history . Then Khashoggi murder happened and all lost .

They already awarded that Frigate contract (approximately 2 billions) to Lockheed martin in late 2019. And delivery didn’t even began yet. I doubt there would another large naval deal that soon.

On a side note- @Anmdt do we know actual Ada corvette's unit cost? There are some conflicting info about it.

"The project budget was announced to be US$ 1.5 billion at that time, and MoND Shipyards Deputy Director Rear Admiral Mehmet SARI, who delivered a speech on October 14, 2019 at the 9th Naval Systems Seminar, stated that the contract value was nearly EUR 1 billion."

From DefenceTurkey magazine.

"STM CEO Davut Yilma said in May 2017 that the cost will be $250 million per ship."

From TheDefence-Post magazine.

Doubting if anything will come out from KSA at this point. But there could be one deal from gulf region, a major one, not tiny bit landing vessels.

The cost depends on the engine and sensor - weapon configuration.

The OPV version with MAN DE in diesel-electric + de configuration, with light weapons (RCWS 1x30, 2x12.7) and container handling crane goes lower than $100 million.

The OPV version can also be fitted with sensors and weapons that tops $250-300* million but using rather lite version of the systems that are used in corvette.

*Hard to speak, some systems are not made or delivered yet.

Corvette version tops $400 million with MTU DE + GE GT + RENK CODAG, and with all necessary cutting edge sensors and weapons.

It was lesslikely to happen anyway, Navy* has not approved sale of Ada Class to KSA back then. Khashoggi event had little to no effect on that deal.

In 2017 Navy was holding the IP rights.

Are those extended designs of OPV related to that?

Previously you said you would discuss in-depth about those designs in a month. I am waiting.😉

After Signing the contract it usually takes 24 month in minimum to deliver these heavy and cutting-age weapon systems. Unless they are already been manufactured for another customer.
Or probably directly from Turkish stock. Some units might be nearing the end of the shelf life. Better use them.

Nah, it only entered service in 2017. Self life would be at least 15 years.
But let’s not forget Bora maybe violate MTCR as it has somewhat more range than 300km. So it has to be Khan.

I believe wikipedia is faulty on this one. Yes it was first seen fired in action in 2017. However, I believe they've had it in inventory for at least 2 decades now.

@TheInsider, could you enlighten this topic?

KHAN is the export variant - designation of the BORA. KHAN may be exported, BORA may not.

Finally, the mystery of wild Su-25 in TAI facilities has been solved.

Going through avionic upgrades and mission control system upgrades (also weapon integration) and additionally introducing "platform agnostic weapon integration and control system". This is lit, any platform may now be integrated with Turkish made weapons without letting producer to "penetrate" with integration protocols.

Some open sources had claimed the range of Bora as 360 km even more but it was never official. Officialy the range is 280 km. So no problem.

Honestly, I don't think that nobody will care if Türkiye violate MTCR via selling missiles to Ukraine. Except Russia..

and Bora entered service first in 2014: "Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri’nin Balistik Füze ihtiyacına yönelik geliştirilen BORA füze sistemi ilk olarak 2014’te TSK envanterine girdi. "

Ukraine still operates SU 25, Mig 29 and Su 27 and they may want to integrate some of our precision guided munitions (kgk, tolun etc) to them. If war continues and Türkiye's tendancy towards Ukraine increases more, we will see interesting things.
