Is the contract signed?Looks like FNSS has struck luck ever since they got rid of their British co-owners.
619 vehicles, that has to be at least 2-3m per piece - huge contract.

Has anyone joined that Italian forum to see what the actual source is?
Italians are unlikely to find anything more competitive than Bayraktar in terms of price-effectiveness.First there has to be a tender, and they will have to win the tender first. But most likely good chances of winning.
Why didnt you?Has anyone joined that Italian forum to see what the actual source is?
Because I don't care enough to do it mate. There is no other mention of it anywhere else, so it looks like someone in a forum said something and twitter ran with it.Why didnt you?
If you use rationality or logic this ''1300 drones'' amount can only be true if Italy produces them for all EU countries.Because I don't care enough to do it mate. There is no other mention of it anywhere else, so it looks like someone in a forum said something and twitter ran with it.
As long as the engine on that drone is also produced fully in Türkiye, I don't care what they develop. the capability to make it must be in Türkiye as well. producing and exporting elsewhere shouldn't be hindered by EU politics. If you use rationality or logic this ''1300 drones'' amount can only be true if Italy produces them for all EU countries.
Btw,if so it can never be the TB-2,maybe they will develope a new better/bigger one.
For European standards the TB-2 isnt enough.
If you make it in the EU,the EU countries wont object to buying it but if you do it in Türkiye, many(Western European countries) will not want any just because of that.As long as the engine on that drone is also produced fully in Türkiye, I don't care what they develop. the capability to make it must be in Türkiye as well. producing and exporting elsewhere shouldn't be hindered by EU politics.
of course some components that are EU could be a hindrance.
Right! But „indigenous“ companies are preferred. And as the German foreign minister said 2 days ago, we will pay all the military stuffsFirst there has to be a tender, and they will have to win the tender first. But most likely good chances of winning.
