Turkey and Egypt's defense cooperation gave birth to SCORPION:
• Unmanned platforms SCORPION and HAMZA-1, developed under local cooperation in Egypt by HAVELSAN and the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), made their debut at the EDEX 2025 Egypt Defense Exhibition
• The unmanned aerial vehicle HAMZA-1, which carries traces of BOZBEY capable of vertical takeoff and landing, drew attention as one of the standout innovations at the exhibition
• The SCORPION Unmanned Ground Vehicle, on the other hand, was developed as a 6x6 platform capable of carrying a remote-controlled weapon system. With these features, SCORPION attracted interest as a new technology for Egypt
• The export of products to be jointly developed and produced is also targeted to third countries in the region
