That is complete nonsense – all ballistic missiles with a range of over 300 km and a payload of over 500 kg are subject to export controls.
Turkey is a member of the MTCR (Missile Technology Control Regime) and is subject to an export ban on this technology.

According to "Berliner Morgenpost" Germany is considering Tayfun Block-4 SRBM/MRBM and Yildirimhan ICBM from Turkey, because Tomahawks can not be delivered by the US.
Can someone living in Germany get a copy of today's Die Welt please? This article, and others, quote them as the source of this shite but I can't find it on their website.

Also, I find it a little curious that everyone who normally question our defence industry products suddenly have more trust in a Turkish ICBM's existence than we do. It's almost like it feeds into a certain narrative or something, but I can't quite put my finger on it 🧐

I got u fam.

The German federal government is reviewing new defense options following the U.S. cancellation of the deployment of Tomahawk cruise missiles. Under discussion are a joint venture for production in Germany and the purchase of Turkish missiles with a range of up to 6,000 kilometers.

The Article sounds for me like a total Nonsense, I don't believe it by myself ! My Intention was just to show how Idiotic the Media are and which zero Knowledge they have when it come to military Matters.

German would rather get occupied than buy anything from Turkey, that article is complete nonsense. Also why would we export a cutting edge SRBM/MRBM to a country that to this day still employs embargos on the Turkish defense industry and no not vetoing the EF purchase does not make up for the embargo of the last 20-30 years.

Never forget how they vetoed the purchase of 1000 Leopard 2A6TR because they could be "used against the pkk".
They blocked the sale of engines for Altay.
Blocked Turkey for years from purchasing EF.
Delayed the shipment of parts for Reis-Class by months if not years.
Blocked the purchase of modernization kits for L2A4 and even shells.

Tried everything to sabotage the Turkish Defense Industry and TSK.

Nonsense.

There are three countries that don't deserve even to purchase a bullet from Turkey. 1. Germany 2. Belgium 3.France.

Bloody hell, that's fucking it? I was expecting an article or something, that's barely a passing remark. It counts more as AfD bait than actual information.

the only part that is true is that the US stoped plans to deploy typhon systems to germany as political punishment. Germany wanted to buy the system itself too but delivery time is so long that US owned systems were meant as bridge until that. The only alternative to the tomahawk is either the french Mdcn which has a shorter range than the tomahawk and is currently only available on ships and gezgin which will be operational in 2-3 years with land based launchers but also shorter range than tomahawk.
There are currently european programs for deep strike missions from simple cruise missiles to hypersonic glide vehicles but these systems are more than a decade away from becoming available. We could sell them land based gezgin similar to kara atmaca within this decade decade but as some one from germany they would rather kill themselves than do business with us.

An ICBM is not a ‘big thing’, if you reached some necessary technologies like fuel, range (long range), multi-stage drive systems..aso. I think we reached this with Cenk missile.

I can’t make sense of this either. Even the Greeks were completely convinced that we had built the ICBM. When I told them it was just propaganda, they wouldn’t believe me.
