24 TB2 for Poland. Nice! As far as I know Ukraine paid around 69 million $ for 6 TB2. 24 TB2 cost around ~300 million $.

Details regarding Poland's procurement of Bayraktar TB2 have been announced:
- A total of 24 Bayraktar TB2s in 4 sets.
- It will be delivered with anti-tank (Roketsan / MAM-L) ammunition.
-First batch of deliveries (6 units) will take place within the next year.

Hungary and Serbia will be next. Morocco has also placed order. Ukraine is planning to increase the number of TB2 up to 48. Kazakhstan is planning to ditch Chinese drones for Tb2. Turkish drones are doing great on abroad.

I hope They don't sell it to Serbia, it is like giving it to Russia. I hope soon larger drones also find their place in the market. As far as I know Japan does not have or using enough UAVs, SSB should pitch Japan and Asian countries against China. Cheap western Alternative. I also wonder details about these new orders whether some include new satcom version, aselsan cats or just regular TB2s

Russia has a pretty strong hand in Kazakhstan too- for sure the whole country is full of their agents on all positions of society so maybe to sell them drones isn’t the best idea... but I guess that in this case there will be people with much bigger expertise on the issue that will decide if it’s worth it to sell.

I won’t sell to Serbia for another reason tho- In an eventual war Serbs will use these drones against the Bosniaks. They still have appetites for huge parts of B&H so let’s not give them a weapon that can threaten Bosnians.

Akıncı was given to TAI at first, no engine was available to realize it (rather they are forced for either western or local engine) and then it has fallen into hands of Baykar.

The Baykar Bayraktar TB2 UCAV has been designed and funded by Baykar themselves which implies they own the rights so they only need permission to sell it from SSB.

SSB had funded it all along if i remember right.
