  • Enclosures: Meeting 100% of domestic demand.
  • Anode Material: Fully self-reliant; actively exporting.
  • Optical Transceivers: Fully self-reliant; actively exporting.

  • Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs): Operational and exporting globally, including to China.

• Partial Domestic Self-Reliance (Scaling Up):
  • Laminates: 80% of domestic demand met (projected to reach 100% soon with ongoing plant expansions).
  • Connectors: 75% of domestic demand met.
  • Lithium-ion Cells: 60% of domestic demand met (scaled up from virtually zero domestic capacity).

Its like Indian Elite understood that what Oil is for China, Electronics is for India. A strategic chokehold and reliance on China which is undesirable. Add on to humongous forex outflow in 10s of Billions of dollars from India. The next phase seems to cover everything largely at basic to mid level aimed at reducing imports.
