I think that's not the detail here. It would be more accurate to look at Simsek's roots and affiliations. RTE had accused KK of making deals with British loan sharks for 3 months, but he seems to be turning in the same direction.Simsek wont change anything as long as the Central Bank is not independent and he knows that.

He has more pessimistic view than I do, but we will likely see what happens as year end approaches when the tourist season is over, energy imports increase and balance of payments issue rears up in greater intensity (esp with more forex insurance payout with fiscal situation as it is already).
