Hope this time they'll stick the landing and TurAF will be happy with it.

That's the enire point of Hürkuş-2's existence to be honest. They better get along this time. TAI learned a lot of lessons. I hope TurAF did as well...

Can somebody remind here what TurAF didn't like about Hurkus, and we are getting Hurkus 2? Afaik biggest change is having a composite body rather than aluminum, what are the other changes anybody know?

You should be able to notice them once you see the aircraft.

According to their experiences with other training aircraft, they want Tai to meet their requirements and expectations.

Ehhhh it isn't as simple as that but long story short, I would say it's an accurate assessment.

"It is our turn. After @TUSAS_TR and @BaykarTech, we are on the tracks. We are the first civilian aircraft produced entirely in Türkiye in accordance with the certification. TROY T200, which has the top features of its class, plans to blow the dust off the track."
I think the TS-1400 can be converted to turpoprop in a very short period of time. We probably have around 10 important companies exporting aircraft structures, materials, moulds and parts to the world. In avionics, interior, cabin, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, there is an established capability, albeit on a certain scale, and many important companies. In the event that a light utility aircraft with twin and single engines is to be produced, the local contribution share can be over 90 per cent without any state support. All the possibilities are there, but no major capitalist is willing to enter this field. However, there are some small enterprises and entrepreneurs who have left important organisations and want to create their own business models. This is a subject that really saddens me.

Experimental Hürkuş-B's design has once again evolved. At this point they could be experimenting for the upcoming Hürkuş-2.

Slightly of topic, however, good to see Ucaksan out there kicking as well

Let's be careful Navy doesn't see this. Otherwise they might want to put it on TCG Anadolu as it can take off and land on short strips :ROFLMAO:

All Turkey/Türkiye discussion has been moved to

thread. Please carry on there. This is TFX fighter and trainer aircraft thread.

Also please stay on topic. Do not politicise these threads. There is a politics thread to discuss such matters.

It may have all the bells and whistles to do with avionics, flight and targeting computers etc etc.
But without the Murad Aesa radar that plane is a lion with no teeth.
Aselsan has lagged badly behind schedule with the Özgür’s Aesa project. That radar should have been on that plane a few years ago. For a good number of years we have been reading that all our f16s would have the new Aesa radar fitted on them. We are in 2023 and still no closer to having any sight of this infamous radar. I only hope that this radar doesn’t become another Altay story.
We need …. No we must have that radar on that plane like yesterday.
