Lmaooo Poland has the nerve to blame Turkey.

They are literally accusing us of sending refugees on flights.

I said this before backstabbing is in their nature.
Turkey haves nothing to do with it. Refugees took the travel on their own expenses and transferred to Belarus from Istanbul, Damascus, Dubai via airlines. It is unconventional warfare approach by Belarus. Belarus sold visas to the refugees for 3000-4000$ so they can use them against Poland on the border.

Good move
With this, Turkey threw the ball to Poland's field and now literally have a proof of performing actions to indicate their 'sincerity' in helping Poland
Now Poland cant accuse Turkey and at the same time; migrants will still flock from Istanbul to the Belarusian-Polish borders to further pressure the EU
Two birds with a stone
Beautiful

Yeah but now that the issue has been brought up, Poland is gonna demand that Turkey start vetting passengers from Iraq. Or ban flights to Belarus altogether.

Sorry but travel and migration is a human right we dont owe these poles anything.

I would support its partition between Germany and Russia anyday.

Ungrateful POS they are.

I mean, come on man, 80% of Turkish society won't stop bitching about refugees and migrants nowadays (with good reason), it's understandable why Poland wouldn't want them either. And you could at least acknowledge that Poland isn't as hostile to Turkey as some other EU states.

If these people wanted to migrate to Poland, there are legal channels. Lukashenko might have tricked them but they could've, y'know, not participated in it.

Polish government might've been quick to accuse but if they ask nicely that Turkey notify them of passengers from Iraq, I don't see any reason not to oblige.

Quickly accusing us does not bide well. Us Turks wont forget this act done by the Poles against us.

Lets not forget it was us who accepted Polish refugees while the Germans, Austrians and Russians wiped out their state in the 1700s that we even kept a Polish embassy despite Poland not being on the map.

They should have this firey rehtoric against their Slavic brothers like Belarus and Russia. Who basically paid visas for them to come.

Not the first time Russia has weaponised refugees. Russia for centuries in its wars usually weaponised refugees against their enemies.

Ottomans not only were losing territory and wars but the Russians constant cause of refugee crisis and mass migration brought the Ottoman Empire into its knees.

Remember the mass migration and refugee crisis continued long until the Turkish independance war ended.

Russia bombs even refugee camps to show that refugee camps are not safe so you are better off leaving. So many refugee camps got emptied due to Russias constant bombings in Syria.

Poland should be thanking Turkey for holding onto 5 million refugees and stopping Russia from attacking idlib last year, that would have led to another 4 million refugees and at that point Turkey would have no choice but to let them go.

When Russia killed Turkish troops in idlib and the invasion was about to be attempted, the entire EU threatened and condemned Turkey not to do anything. The poles who have a constant arsefear over russian annexation, should be thanking us. We are the only serious nation countering russia in any meaningful way.

I've next to never heard any european nation bar maybe Hungary thank Turkey for it.

Turks were ok with the refugees up to about 2 million, not 2000 like the Polish at their border. A people who don't even want to live in Poland they want to cross to Germany.

Turks got sick of the refugees as it hit 3 million onwards. Then europe kept condemning Turkey, threatening Turkey and sanctioning Turkey over her moves in Syria.

So don't apologise for these people, its not Turkeys job to house and feed the worlds refugee population, we already look after the most refugees in the world.

All Turkey is really asking for is EU support for Turkey to establish a safe zone where these people can be housed. Thats political support, not military support. Had they decided to step away from their PKK statelet dreams it could have been done many years ago.

But since the europeans want to balkanise the region, they keep opposing Turkish moves even though those moves would be good for the immediate region and europe itself.

I actually think Poland signalling out Turkey is disgraceful, a morally low type of behaviour. If Poland wanted to help they should have said its the EU's long overdue time to support the Turkish safe zone so these people can be rehoused.

Even then the so called refugees at the Polish border are mostly Kurds who came from erbil Iraq. The people the west romanticised as long as they were committing terrorist attacks against the Turkish people.

Seems like a Compromise has been negotiated with Poland

Turkish Airlines has confirmed that they will no longer accept nationals of Iraq on board flights to Minsk, Iraq, Syria and Yemen, with the exception of holders of diplomatic passports.
Behalf @prezydentpl thank you to everyone who participated in the talks on this matter.

Would just like to point out that Poland is cursing out Russia and Belarus most of all, as well as other Middle-Eastern nations providing passage to these migrants. Don't get hung up on the idea that only Turkey was targeted.

And, well, I would like to point out that Poland never actually opposed Turkey's operations. They even commented that the EU should help Turkey more IIRC.

The Hellenic Air Force is reportedly considering the acquisition of the 30 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets of the Royal Air Force, due to be retired by 2025, according to Nikos Panagiotopoulos, the Greek Minister of Defense.

“All possible options are being considered to find the most suitable solution, in order to further upgrade the operational capabilities of the Air Force,” Panagiotopoulos said when questioned about the prospect by Kyriakos Velopoulos, president of the conservative party Ellinikí Lýsi.

Those 30 aircraft would come as a great opportunity for the Hellenic Air Force to retire the 18 antiqued McDonnell-Douglas F-4E Phantom II jets it is currently operating.

Faced with heightened territorial tensions with Turkey, Greece has been modernizing its fighter fleet. In mid-September, the Greek government confirmed that an order for six Dassault Rafale fighter jets would be placed, in addition to 18 French-made fighter jets already ordered for the Hellenic Air Force in January 2021.

> Greece seems to Target anything flying.

F16B70s, Mirage2000s, Rafale's, F35s, Typhoons.

I said it before and I will say it again, Turkey should buy the british stash of Typhoon jets, period!
Greece wont only benefit directly from the sale but will also appeal itself as a potential buyer of british equipment in the future which translates to billions of dollars in the future as the hellenic military (unlike its turkish counterpart) is massively dependent on Western equipments

In other words, the US is saying they didnt sanction Turkey for the S400 but because Erdo disobeyed AMERICAN ORDERS!
So the US has no problems with Turkey getting S400s as long as the Turkish government is America's bitch! Lovely statements I swear, no wonder they are losing influence worldwide

I don't know the political situation in the USA but people say Trump is gaining support and can make a comeback in the next elections.
